Great, convenient molds
These molds are convenient and easy to use. I love the fact that it came with its own ice bin and tongs as well.

Large ice mold, nice container with lid
In Germany the refrigerators are very small. Some have no freezers. Restaurants mostly serve their sodas without ice. I have missed ice A LOT. Our loaner refrigerator, luckily, has freezer space - but I have not seen a refrigerator here with an ice maker. Time to go old school. I have been experimenting with different ice cube sizes. My kids and myself use a lot of ice, so we go through a bin of small ice cubes very quickly. I thought that large ice balls might be the solution. We could just keep using our cup over and over, sticking our cup in the freezer and take it out when we wanted to pour another of the same soda...then wash at the end of the day. What can I say? I am desperate. I really like this nice set of two different molds. The included lidded container and ice tongs are very helpful. After washing all of the pieces I set to making my ice. I hadn't considered that the silicone molds would be floppy once they were filled with water and difficult to move. I ended up placing them on my kiddo's plate in order to fill them, then transfer and store them in the freezer. I was surprised at how much water it took to fill the molds. I didn't use a funnel and it was challenging to fill them without creating an air bubble over the opening. I ended up using a measuring cup and slowly pouring a trickle of water into the molds. Once the ice had solidified, it was easy to remove the ice from the molds. I didn't let them sit out or run warm water over them. I just peeled off the top of the mold, turned it overtop the container, and pushed the bottom of the mold where it said "push". Out they popped! I am very pleased with the size of the ice spheres and the ice roses and how easy it was to make them. I have high hopes that these will keep my drinks ice cold through a few refills!

Nice, but no funnel
You don't have to have a funnel to use these molds, but it sure is a lot easier if you do. This set didn't come with one, but luckily I had one from another set. The cubes turned out nicely if you fill them to the correct line. They were easy to remove. It's nice having the tongs and storage container, too.

I Have Never Been So Excited About Ice Lol
I’m not much of a drinker so I got these ice cube molds for when I drink my soda & ice tea. It didn’t occur to me that they’ll REALLY come in handy when I go back to work next month & I can put the ice in my water jug that I keep on my bus when it’s sweltering outside. I’m actually sitting here, drinking some tea now & I started timing to see how long the ball lasted & I’m at exactly one hour so far. At this point, my tea will be gone way before the ball melts. I can’t wait to try the roses after seeing all the rave reviews. I had no problems filling the molds. I used a measuring cup w/ a spout & went slow. Slow & steady is the way to go. If not, you’ll make a mess & water gets everywhere. I had no problem getting them out. I just popped one out & will be storing them in the molds & not in the supplied plastic bin. The included tongs I thought were kinda ridiculous. They were TINY & I really don’t know what they expected me to do w/ them lol. One thing I wanted to make sure I mentioned is you most likely won’t be able to use a cup w/ a lid w/ a hole in the top for a straw (Ex: Fancy Starbucks cups). The ball takes up space & the straw won’t align w/ the hole in the lid so you’ll have to remove it. As long as the possibility of me spilling my drinks isn’t huge, I don’t mind but when the time comes & I take my drinks on the go, I’ll need to make sure they’re in a cup/jug w/ a built-in spout.

Ice cube molds are great for water bottles but didn't come with the tray
I love the ice cube molds! They are easy to fill and remove, and are great for putting in a water bottle on the go because they take a long time to melt. However, the listing advertised a box and tongs for the ice cubes, and it didn't come for me.NOTE: large ice cube balls don't fit in a 32oz hydroflask/ bottles with a similar mouth size.

Great, simple set.
The molds were a bit out of shape from being crammed into the ice containter, but they relaxed after a day or so of sitting out... a bit of a hot water bath helped too. They work well. I wish they were a bit more stiff in design since they are so flexible (which is great for removing the ice) they are a bit of a challenge to load into the freezer when full of water. You really need to set them on something to get them in. I actually found the lid of the ice containter to work since the containter itself it too small to be extremely useful in my opinion. I don't care much for the rose mold, but if you wanted a sphere that disipated more quickly at the start than the finish, then it could be a good one for you. Maybe for neat spirits where you wanted more water? I prefer the sphere with less water added over time with a refill or two on a single ice sphere. They are great. I think you will like them too. Don't expect clear ice though... that comes from feezing slower and an insulated mold is needed. (They taste the same... whatever).

More efficient cooling
I filled the molds with water and put in freezer for overnight. They definitely need about 10 - 12 hours minimum to set. The ball for some reason have humps, I do not know why, J put them perfectly straight, yet they developed a hump. The roses came out perfect. I which there would be a mini funnel to fill the mold with water. You have to fill slow and preferably make sure the water flows into it exactly in that little hole, otherwise the water fill spill all over. The rose does not stayed upward for me in the drink, turned on side/upside down. It took about 5-8 minutes to melt the rose part - staying as a smaller ball. After 1 hour the rose melted for an ice cube size versus the ball which barely have a size difference. It's definitely more efficient to cool your drink, as both keeps longer than a regular ice cubes.Guests are loving it and always sparks a new and different conversation.
