This mount would be fine if the pivoting post were longer. It's not quite long enough for the GPS screen to be vertical; the GPS is tilted back about 15 deg. at the maximum forward rotation. Also, the retainer clip which seats in the Garmin GPS does not fit quite as well as the Garmin OEM clip; the GPS has to be pressed on it with extra force. However, the OEM clip that came with my GPS works with this mount, so no problem there. It's just the nuisance of the screen being tilted back on the dash. Otherwise, it's an excellent mount if you want one stuck to the dash.

Easy to install for my Hyundai Veloster and Garmin 61 GPS.I will still wait how much time the 3M adhesive will last during summer with the heat and the weight of the Garmin screen.(I followed the instructions and clean the surface with the wipe)After 3 weeks, the adhesive 3M It's loose from the surface.Had to buy a Gorila mounting tape double side, heavy duty 30 lbs. I had to replace the 3M.

At first the sticky on this charger city car dashboard is not strong enough to hold on dashboard but if you strip the sticky and replace a stronger sticky like gorilla glue which it make very strong hold and it worth it!!

Just what I needed. Solid adhesion.

So far, it has worked perfectly and it is positioned so the weight is not pulling down directly through the center of the base but so that gravity is creating a moment on the base. But I have been driving on smooth city roads and as yet have not hit a jarring bump..
