You're going to have ips glow, it's normal on every ips panel.
I love this for the price. Crisp, sharp image. The color accuracy is great and colors are very vibrant. I recommend keeping contrast at 100 and brightness to 50 or lower if you're concerned about ips glow, I think alot of people confuse it for backlight bleed. My best advice is to make sure the center of the screen is aligned with your eyes while sitting straight upwards. This helps to aid the ips glow especially in dark scenes, you're still going to notice it but that's what you get with ips panels. The best part about ips though is 0 ghosting which is my biggest concern. Great monitor for the price. If you play on console the system will upscale to 4k at 60hz. Only issue for me is that you can't use hdr with 2k 120hz at least on my series x. Still waiting to get my pc so we'll see how it preforms with dp 1.4. I might make an update on that if there's issues with the hdr, but I prefer not to use hdr with pc anyway.

Amazing quality considering the price.
Picked up two of these for $200 each. There's some settings you have to adjust to get faster response time, OC the refresh rate, set the color, but if you're savvy enough then its nice. The gamma does run pretty low. Both monitors had backlight bleed through in similar places, though one was a bit worse than the other. Nothing extreme but its definitely noticeable when the screen goes black.I saw some confusion regarding this: the monitor comes with standoffs to make it compatible with VESA mounts.

A affordable gaming monitor with great quality.
Has great picture quality and looks great next to my other 1440p monitor. The monitors menu is decent, but the button placement is on the back which makes it hard to reach with a second monitor next to it.

Good monitor, amazing performance
Perfect for gaming and work from home. It is height adjustable. It is worth the money invested. Excellent resolution (2K) and fluid (170 Hz). Until now zero problems at all.

Good monitor for the price
This monitor is great value for the money, considering it being qhd and high refresh rate. However the back light bleeds a little, and the colors feel a little off.

Died after 8 months, horrible customer service
Product worked great for 8 months, then all of a sudden every other row of pixels on the lower third of the screen died. I went through customer service, who approved a warranty repair. HOWEVER, YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING TO THE REPAIR SITE! Through UPS this would've cost $160 and taken 2 weeks. Opted to just buy a new monitor from a different, more respectable company. MSI should be embarrassed to have a customer service policy so blatantly designed to discourage customers from being able to take advantage of the warranty. Never buying an MSI monitor again.

Good production
The price is cheap and the high refresh rate display, but I feel that the DPI value is too low, so I finally returned it and chose other devices with 4k+27 inches.

Great value for the price
I've been looking for a 1440p monitor for some time and cannot be happier with this purchase—great picture and smooth with the higher refresh rate over my old 1080p monitor. I was shocked by how much more I could see with a higher resolution, as in stuff on the screen (better FOV for gaming).I'm normally sensitive to certain monitors and find my eyes get strained easier on some than others, but there's so much picture customization in the settings that you can easily adjust to fit your needs.

It's a decent monitor
I've just been using this monitor in the past few days, and I'm happy to report that there are only two dead pixels out of the box. The overall image quality is, again, pretty decent, but I regret not spending a little extra and getting the Asus VG27AQL3A. I had this Asus one before until it died on me, and the quality was better compared to this MSI one. Returning this product would be too much of a pain for me, so I guess MSI will get away with it this time.

VRR flicker
this monitor has very noticeable VRR (adaptive sync) flicker when switching to different refresh ratesother than that, the monitor is good for the price I paid (was 21% off)
