I returned it and got the amazing Hercules stand instead
I bought this for use with a Fender Jazz Bass after reading reviews and the specification which suggested it could handle all kinds of guitars including mine.Well, yes, technically it is possible to balance my £1000.00 pristine Fender bass on this stand... but woe betide if a drunken roadie, groupie or just our cat were to come into the lightest contact with it... the bass would tip over in an instant.I returned it and got the amazing Hercules stand instead.

Great value compact guitar stand
Very compact guitar stand, light to carry but sturdier than you might think! It fits my Ovation bowl back as well as my range of acoustic and electric guitars. I chose the gunmetal version but it's not very clear on Stage Legends' Amazon advert as to how to order your preferred version (silver, black or gunmetal) - FYI the options are at the bottom of the blurb as tiny photos, click on ghetto one you want. Stand arrived promptly & well packaged. Highly recommended.

Great stand!
Wow! I could not believe how light and compact this stand is. What a great piece of kit to pop in your bag when playing out and about. I bought a travel guitar for ease of transport and this stand completes the outfit. It seems really stable, doesn't move at all on my wooden floor, and looks great in a minimalist way. There is nothing much to see with the guitar on it so if you have a beautiful guitar to show off, and safeguard, this ticks the box. I needed to contact this company with a query about my stand and the customer service has been exceptional. Very pleasant and helpful communication, I would definitely choose to deal with this company again. A nice bonus.

OK, but be careful with this.
Watch how you set this up. If you're careful it's fine, but in a bit of a gig frenzy I guess I wasn't, and my little martin did a stage dive. It's fixed and a four foot fall to a sold floor and still able to finish the gig with bits hanging off is a great advert for the martin, but I'd not want to feel that shock again. I still use the stand, it's convenient to carry in a gig bag, but pay very serious attention to how I set it up, and it now lives on the side away from the stage edge. Really, be careful.

Versitile and light .. but maybe a little too light!
Is a good little stand that does exactly what it says on the tin. I'm using this with a solid bass guitar which has a standard length scale length of 34" ... so quite long. My concern was that it wouldn't be able to hold up with something so long, but I needn't have feared. It holds its own well enough as long as you don't have someone tripping into it (or in my case a little 2yr old bounding into it) even with the long lever of the fretboard. I had somehow expected more of it to be made out of the aluminium, but only the major pipe lengths are metal work, in the case of the picture I have in front of me, the coloured bits. The rest is all plastic and rubber. It's really not heavy, so that could be a plus or a minus depending on your stance. Compared to the steel stand I have at home it is nowhere near as steady but also nowhere near as heavy ... so it's perfect for gigs or setting up on the stage etc. and with the adjustability it has, it will definitely be part of the gig bag ensemble ...but I've left the steel one up in the house for when I need the extra security.

Impressive design and lightweight
A friend of mine had one and I was so impressed I bought one myself. I have plenty of guitar stands, but this is so neat and well designed I just had to have one. Unfortunately my mate had already got the red one so rather than get them mixed up I chose the titanium which is really cool. It's great for both electric or acoustic instruments which can't be said for all mini stands these days.

they are as good as my larger and more heavily built ones
Considering how light these stands are, they are as good as my larger and more heavily built ones, and for touring a lot easier to pack as they are remarkable small when folded. Currently they are supporting a Fender Baritone Telecaster, and a Gretsch 6120. Of all my 12 guitars, some of which are 1960s and '70s vintage, the only one that I wouldn't put on one of these stands, is my vintage Ovation bowl back, which has to go on a long stand with a neck strap. Good value for money.

Not suitable for thicker instruments
Nicely compact and a clever design, but any instrument thicker than an electric guitar (or maybe a violin) will sit almost vertically in the stand - so nothing like as stable as a more conventional instrument stand where the instrument tilts backwards. Would be much better if the back tilted back a bit more or the horizontal legs (front & back) were a bit longer when fully expanded. Not suitable for my needs so I had to send it back. Pity.
