Was amazed at how easy it was plus I only used maybe 12 screws in a 4x4 area that was squeaky for 20 years. Was getting new carpeting an wanted to fix that area before hand. I used it over the subfloor an worked the same as if it was over carpet.

Worked amazing until one of the screws did not release and broke the entire plastic tool. Wish it was metal but will recommend because I don’t have squeaky floors anymore.

These items were better than expected. Great quality. Strong and durable. Proportions were spot on. Definitely would buy again.

Nice kit but you can't try to work very fast and get the joist finder screws heated up, they will fail rapidly if you do. Have to work slowly and then I'm unsure how long it will last due to very cheap material. These parts of the kit have to be used over and over and they should be made of far better material, they should be made of proper steel. Note the pic of the snapped example. Also noted that after driving in the screws, often I didn't have to break away the portion at the top that is supposed to need to be snapped off, they just snapped off driving them in. For the ones that didn't break away upon the screw being sunk all the way the plastic tool works just fine to snap them off if you use it correctly. I don't feel any protrusions from the ones that broke by themselves, but I am concerned if over time these screws will hold up or they will snap where they pull the joist and the subfloor together and then the squeaks are back. Not happy with the quality of this particular kit. Between the name of the "brand" and the performance of the joist finder tool as well as the screws themselves it seems like a cheap Chinese knockoff, which I'm sure it is.

It is extremely easy to figure out. It did the job perfectly and seems like it will hold up. I recommend leaving all screws in so you can measure and find all supports quickly and easily and then break all off after.

If you take your time it will work for you. Most of the squeaking comes from the end of the flooring that has bowed up from the joist. Just find where the squeaking ends and put a few screws in and it usually will solve the problem. Took me about 15 minutes to fix what has been driving me crazy for months.

Fixed squeak in my carpeted floor perfectly. Watched some YouTube tutorials on this product before I bought this kit and it worked exactly like the products in the videos. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I am absolutely shocked at how bad this product is. Every single screen snapped off as soon as they hit the joist. Spent the whole evening with a vice grips getting the ends of the screws back out. Requesting refund.
