Great machine for the money.
I tried to post a video of how the machine worked but for some reason it wouldn't post. I have been a welder/ fabricator for 20+ years and have use all the industrial plasma cutters. I've been wanting one for many years but couldn't pull the trigger on a $1500-$2000 plasma cutter that I'm only going to use a few times per year, so I rolled the dice and bought this machine. I'm glad I did. It's a slick little machine for the weekend hobby welder. You can't beat the value for the money. I know it's made in China, but it's actually a decent piece of machinery. The ground clamp (or work place clamp for those that have to be specific) is a bit on the chincey side, the cable could be a bigger gauge and maybe a few feet longer but that's really my only complaint. The gun is comfortable to use. The plasma cutter is a touch start but you really don't need to touch the tip to the material when the tip is new and clean. Just hold the tip an inch away from the material you are going to cut, depress and hold the trigger then slowly move the tip toward the material. Once the tip is about an eighth of an inch from the material the arc will strike and you can start cutting. This technique will help with the longevity of the consumables. Keep in mind once the tip gets dirty enough then it is required to touch the tip to the material lightly until you use up the tip and need to change it, then the process starts over again. This machine cuts through 3/16 like butter and does well with 1/4 also. I have not done 3/8 yet as its advertised to be able to cut up to 3/8. It will cut through 1/2 if you go very slow. It will leave a good amount of slag at the bottom of the cut on 1/2 inch but it will cut it if absolutely need be. The cart pictured used 3x3 3/16 tubing and the plasm cutter made fast work of cutting my tube since I don't own a band saw. This machine comes with everything needed to set it up except for an air chuck connection for an air compressor. Click on the pic of the back of the machine and zoom in on the spot where the air connection is and you'll see that I took the next size up hose barb (I believe it's a 3/8. The machine comes with 1/4 inch) I was able to force the 3/8 hose barb in, which helped make a good tight seal, then threaded a female to female connector on so I could thread on the air chuck which was a male style thread. Also, use lots of the provided Teflon tape to ensure you don't have air leaks. I don't know anything about the customer service as I have not had to contact them, and as for longevity, the remains to be seen. I'm hoping this lasts a long time. Taken car of it should. The cart it's on is a Harbor Freight $40 cart and I would also advise if you put this on a cart like this, strap it down somehow. I just strapped mine down with a ratchet strap. The machine is about the size of a lunch box and also very light weight so it would be very easy to accidentally knock it over. I hope this review helps.*EDIT* I added a couple pictures to show how it cuts. If you look close to the cut of the material in the pic where I'm holding the torch straight on you will see the cut looks to be angled about 45°. To get a straight 90° you have to tilt the torch forward as shown in the other picture.*UPDATE*. I LOVE this machine. I've been using it now for close to a year and a half and have had no issues with cuts. The only issue I have with this machine is the clear air tubing it comes with doesn't seal the best on the regulator even with a clamp on it, so the air leaks. So, after I'm done cutting for a few min I unhook the air from the machine. I will eventually get a different chunk of air line and replace that clear piece. I just more important things on my plate right now.

Blown away. Must adjust air properly for cut amps!
I was not impressed with how light and tiny this unit is. My old 30a Miller is a transformer machine and 30x heavier than this. But, I assembled the air regulator and proceeded to give it a go. I tried it out on 35a cutting 3/16 mild steel plate. The pilot arc would not stay lit. Rather than call it a dud, started diagnosing. Long story short, the plasma flame is pretty sensitive to air pressure relative to amperage setting. Well, even changing electrodes or tips, or both required a new air adjustment. I figured this out by adjusting the air and watching the flame/arc. If its too high, it burns white-ish and cuts out shortly after lighting. If the air is too low for the amperage, the flame is greenish blue a little and sputters. Ive learned to adjust it to a consistent arc flame that does not sputter, nor cut out prematurely. On pilot arc, it produces an arc flame for 5 or so seconds. If the machine does not pick up the closed circuit after 5 secs it cuts the arc. So if I pull the trigger and the pilot arc doesn't stay lit for 5 seconds, the air is too high. If I pull the trigger and it sputters, I need to raise the air pressure or lower the amperage dial. I set the amperage for the cut 1st and then adjust air. Once I've adopted this method, I have not had an actual issue at all with my machine. Im actually blown away at how freaking powerful it is but its so small, light and compact. I buy .040 consumables for 120v use and .045 consumables for 240v use. It makes a difference in the cut for me anyway. Just my input. People may curse this machine but it may just need to be adjusted. Id buy this little machine again for sure. Time will tell with durability, but ive seen 3yr reviews on this brand on YouTube so I hope for the same long term performance.

Not for absolute beginners
Starting out, the product is great. Size, ease of use and portability are excellent. However my 4/5 stars is due to the lack of instruction materials. I am new to plasma cutting but have a rough idea of what was required. I was hoping that I would have recommended settings for various cuts of various thickness. I have found that trial and error will be the best teacher. On another note, unless you have a heavy duty air compressor, you’ll have a bottle neck in cutting ability because of the sheer volume of air required. All in all very happy.

Buyer Beware I tried 2 of them
After reading the reviews on the product i expected to receive a nice product but as it turned out there is so much wrong. The orgional ordered item looked to have already been opened and was missing parts. I sent it back and requested a replacement.I received the replacement and it does not work properly. First just to turn it on the power cord has to be held just right and if moved the unit shuts off.Second this is supposed to be a non touch unit however once the unit powered on air comes out of the tourch and should not until the trigger is pressed. ckicking the trigger on and off does not resolve this problem.also the tip has to be touching the metal to be cut in order to even start.I am not even mentioning how everything is an irregular size so you can't switch the poor ground clamp for a better one, or how the air line fitting has to be swapped out for one that fits a standard shop compressor.this is not at all what was expected or what I have read from the reviews.Eventhough is my true experience, I think the plasma cutter could be a great maching if properly tested before sold and if the tourch and ground clamp were upgraded. I would like to see this be the machine i think it could be.

Work very well
I have order an another brand plasma cutter a month ago on Amazon, first day I received it, tried it and was not able to cut into metal more then 1 minute at a time with it, it was stopping to cut by it self, contacted the seller and answer me in Chinese, that was useless for me then I decided to return it an order this one instead, the Reboot plasma cutter (Green Machine) is working very good, I received it last week an tried it several time on all king of metal and cut through that very easy and did clean cut into aluminium, steel, very happy with my new purchase and will recommend this brand over some other red plasma cutter.

Reboot Cut 50 ( 12 month Shop test )
I purchased it 2019 , I wanted to give my review after used it for at least 12 months. Having over 45 years experience in welding and owning brand-name plasma‘s such as hypotherm and Miller the price of this unit is extremely good for someone working in a garage at home. The reboot cut 50 plasma has been in service in my shop. All my employees have used it I have not heard one negative thing. Of course you’re not paying the big dollars for the unit if you respect the machine it will treat you good. For replacement parts such as consumables I strongly recommend buying directly from reboot to ensure the unit will preform the way it should. We have cut a great deal of 14 gauge steel and stainless steel with no problems I strongly recommend using it on a 220 outlet however we have been using it on 110 single phase with no problems you must install a 30 amp breaker or more if you are running on 110 volts. I have recently purchased six more machines to put at various workstations throughout my shop. The nice thing about this machine consumables are very economical and not overpriced. My rating for the reboot Cut 50 on a scale of 1 to 10 Is a 9.5 taking in consideration the cost of the machine and the performance it gives you.Machine constructionI have opened the machine up to see how the electrical system what is assembled. These people seem to take pride in what they are doing. I could not see one thing that was really bad other than a light that was glued in place. In short the cut 50 is extremely good for the average person in the garage working at home cutting steel and stainless steel
