Lightning Digital AV Adapter,Goodock Lightning to HDMI Adapter for iPhone, iPad and iPod

Junk. Requires a power cord at all times; when you plug it in, it presents a quirky menu that you can't use. Appears to be configurable for Android machines too (though I've never heard of an Android machine with a Lightning connector). I surpassed the send-it-back window before I tested it, so I just threw it away. You can buy the genuine Apple product for only a little bit more; while I'm not in love with Apple or their prices, in this case, that's what you want to do. The seller provided quick delivery and good service and deserve good feedback for that; but if this is the junk they sell, I'm cutting them off, too.

The first time I tried using I was able to make a connection. Since that first connection it hasn't work since. If I hadn't thrown out the packaging I would have returned it to Amazon. Not worth a star!

This item is seriously a piece of garbage and a waste of time and money. Wouldn’t work with certain hdmi cables and only worked twice. Then it crapped out and wouldn’t work at all. I bought it so I could watch shows on the tv from my phone. Threw this thing in the garbage where I’m sure the creator of this probably found it. Sooooo disappointing amazon even allows this to be sold. Went to Best Buy and spent the extra 13 bucks to get a real one. The weight difference between the two almost exact similar items was unreal. It was like it was missing parts in the inside. Didn’t even try to send back for a refund and just tossed it away I was so upset

Horrible product, please do not buy just do yourself a favor and buy the apple adapter. It messed up my ipad (I couldn’t stream some videos or watch directtv) and it is just a cheap product. It’s worth to spend the extra money on the apple adapter or any other one.

A little trouble in the hook-up, it requires power provided by the Apple charger, which i did not expect. It works fine just an unexpected detail. Perhaps the photo of the item could display the hook-up. Still it does the job and that's what was needed.

Flat out didn't work! Would not deliver a video signal from my iPhone 6S with updated iOS via a functioning HDMI cable to anything (tried projector, computer monitor, HD TV, and laptop). Also, lightning-to-lightning wasn't always recognized by my phone. The after connecting a charging cable to the lightning-to-lightning connector, my phone continued to indicate it was being charged even after the charging cable had been disconnected from the adapter for well over 30 seconds.

This thing is nothing like the ones you get from apple. Most products from apple are just over priced. This product was supposed to be a good alternative. If you you don’t have the power cable it won’t cast anything on the screen unlike the apple brand. Also it only lasted about half of two movies. It would only get half way through a movie then freeze up. After unplugging it and trying again it eventually gave up and didn’t even show a signle thing on the screen.

I got this thinking I'd save a ton of money vs. an Apple brand name product.I found one reason it's 80% cheaper is it doesn't work with HD programs to show on HDTVs. You apparently need a true Apple connector to do that... So I'm not sure what this can be used for, but don't get it if you want to broadcast on a TV.Abject waste of money.
