Let me start off by saying that this is a beautiful looking hub with good build quality and performance. It matches nicely with my laptop and is convenient enough to carry around because of its compact size. Performance wise, The ports fuction well even when fully loaded, and I haven’t noticed any problem so far. One part where I think could be improved is with the plugs. They are a bit long which leave a small gap when plugged into your laptop. This might be great if your laptop has a case on, but when you unplug stuff it tends to wiggle a little which I think is not very good for stable connection. I am, however, happy with every other aspect of this product. Would purchase again.

I got this in March and it has worked without any issues until now. I started up a photography business, and all of a sudden when I need to finish some edits the SD card reader is no longer working. The charging port has no issues; the USB adapters have no issues; but of course, the SD card reader--the one I need--is no longer working. And their returns expire within 30 days. Bummer.Now I have to buy the apple adapter--which looks SO DUMB--which means that I'm going to spend $110 in adapters. Would've been better off paying a higher penny for something more mainstream rather than this one. My point: you get what you pay for. This isn't very reliable when it comes down to it.

Seams sluggish when connecting multiple devices such as a portable hard drive and a wireless USB mouse. Wish I had got single connection hubs instead of this. The two USB-c ports don't really add value if trying to connect existing devices. These would have been better as Mini-display (thunderbolt 3) ports.

Gets very hot. Doesn't fit correctly with thin plastic case installed and I get error messages on startup when attached to my MacBook Pro. I will return it.

Photos show that the product is seamless against your laptop. This is not true and highly misleading, there's a solid gap which causes the Sagetec to be super flimsy as it hangs there looking half plugged in even though it's all the way in and working UNTIL it breaks and stops working completely. I wish I could return this piece of junk.It baffles me how they can post these misleading pictures and get away with it. Look at the photo I attached. Yes, that's fully pushed/plugged in.
