5 Litre Plastic Cereal Container

Unfortunately I ordered 2 & one of them came with a bit broken off - see pic-I although it was replaced no trouble I am a little worried the plastic may be a bit brittle & prone to breaking further for instance if they get accidentally dropped & as they were a little pricey I would have preferred to have more confidence in them... However they function well enough as yet for what I need

This is a great size for cereal and fine at first, but both times I've had one, the lid broke at the corner, so the container was no longer airtight.

This product is made of good strong plastic and is very sturdy. We use ours for rice, for which is is especially effective, but it could equally be used for cereal or pasta. The opening in the lid makes it easy to open and pour, but the entire lid can be removed for easy filling.It is important to be careful when opening the container fully, as the plastic can break quite easily, but as long as you take care it poses no problems.

Takes a whole box of cereal.

They appeared great to start with, but lids not very strong, when you have to open to refill, one of the three lids, (lips) broke off left a sharp edge, luckily hasn't affected the seal, but a lot of care has to be taken when opening the lids

These are so very useful, particularly for cereals, when several different cereals are on the go at once. Great price, quick delivery.
