Mortier Pilon 100681 Fermentation Crock-2L (Kimchi Special Edition), Glass, White

Fantastic, produced great kimchi. Only slight issue that the top is awkward to screw on and you can't put it all in the dishwasher.

Just received this fermentation crock and tried it for a recipe! Very satisfied with the result!!

Cheap looking!Just received the Mortier Pilon Kimchi Special Edition 2 L pot. Am amazed that I paid so much money for this cheap looking piece of kitchen ware. The glass looks like recycled glass and the plastic of a cheaper quality. I have a feeling it probably is produced for under £10.00. Wouldn't have entertained buying it for this price in a shop! Have a feeling I have been taken for a ride.

This was an expensive buy and I was expecting something a cut above the competition but was sorely disappointed. Form over function here I think - the snazzy plastic thing that covers the base has no purpose but to impress - moisture got in between the plastic and the glass and went black with mould, and of course was completely visible from inside the jar whilst at the same time completely inaccessible for cleaning purposes. Added to which, the jar cracked the first time it was washed up after use! Total waste of money.

This is a complete waste of money!. I bought one about 2 months ago and its an expensive jar with a plastic casing around the bottom. The 'weight' is too light and too small and kraut juice runs down in between the jar and the casing and when you empty the jar of kraut you can see the mouldy kraut juice stuck between the glass jar and outer casing but you can't clean it so it looks horrible. The lid doesn't fit properly, the chalk pencil works badly but doesn't come off easily with the next batch. I could go on.....
