I bought this to use as a spare. I have very curly hair, so I wrap it in rods to make it less curly. (It pulls on my scalp and gets painfully dry otherwise.) And, I use a dryer with a soft hood attachment to dry my hair every night to increase the odds that it will be dry or close to dry in the morning and most mornings for a few minutes if the hair is still damp. I find this helps me to gently bake moisture in and enjoy frizz free. luscious curls. BUT, my sister takes my dryer without asking and then does not return it before I need it, so I bought a spare (for the 2nd time as she took my last one) so that I am not inconvenienced.I tried it today and I LOVE it! It is so much nicer than my usual one. First, my old one was 2000W whereas this one is 1875W, and yet the air flow is amazing and it can get very hot. But, the cool setting (required to not melt the soft hood) is easy to tolerate. So, there is a lot of air flow and decent heat on the Warm, Medium settings.Also, I love how the attachment snaps into place. (Typically, I have to use plumber's tape to make the attachment stay on but still be removable.) And even through the barrel is small and there is a gap around the soft hood hose, there is very little air escaping through there. And, I can tell that the air is hitting all sides of my head at once. The motor is also a bit quieter than my old one. And, I thought my old one was pretty good.So, I couldn't be happier... well, yes I could. My old 'universal' diffuser attachment does not fit this dryer. And, now that I know how great this one is, I will need to find one.But, still, this is one of the best dryers that I can recall every buying. So, I am kinda glad that I decided to combat the borrowing with a backup.

This dryer does an awesome job and really dried my hair quickly and left it very soft with no heat damage!

Has Lots of settings. Heat and cool. String power and good quality product. Has a VERY long chord. Comes with attachments. Dries hair quickly .

I bought this Andis 80750 1875 Watt Hair Dryer in Black. It was rated well & it came with a Diffuser, Fast Dry, Low Noise & a Soft Grip. I especially like the Low Noise & the Settings buttons, plus it dries longer hair quickly.The only drawbacks are that it’s Larger (takes up more counter space) & also heavier than the folding travel hair dryer I had previously. Would recommend it. The cord length is good.

This is an update to my previous review. I bought the newer model, and it does not get as hot. It doesn’t seem to last very long either. Both the old model and new model seem to wear out quickly and by quickly I guess I mean a couple years. I would buy one of these every year because of the fact it gets hotter than any other of the blow dryers I’ve ever owned. My hair dries softer, and with less frizz. As mentioned, the newer model does not get as hot so I ordered the old model, hoping it is just like the back up dryers I have in my closet. Yes, the ends chip off and I don’t use the accessories so it’s no big deal. I’m still going to keep buying these until they’re discontinued. I am on my eighth one!! I love it that much.I go through hair dryers often......you buy them in the store and take it home and then hate it. Too much hassle to take it back so it sits in a drawer. They are either not hot enough or blow the hair right off your head. This one is PERFECT! It gets very hot and I use both the high and low settings while drying my hair. I am buying a second one since I travel a lot and have to fight with my spouse over who gets to use it! Andis is an excellent manufacturer!****update: I’ve gone through 3 of these in about a year and a half. It’s a love / hate relationship! Best, hottest, perfect airflow of any hair dryer I’ve used. #1 issue is they only last a couple months (daily use by 2 girls with med hair / 15 min ea of us) before they start acting up. Motor switches to cool mode and back numerous times throughout the 25 minutes. Eventually it’s so often that it takes much longer to dry our hair. However, I can’t find any other dryers we like better. So I’m stuck buying multiple dryers per year! Need to upgrade motor quality!!! I’d pay $50 or more for exact dryer with better motor!!

This is the best dryer! It's my 2nd or 3rd of the same style. Light weight, low noise, great air flow, button choices for speed and temp are excellent. Great price and lasts very well. The red looks good. Will buy again. Andis makes quality products.

Blower works fine just the attachment piece sucks

I bought this may 2021 and it has just now started to fail. I believe there may be a short in the switch. While I'm using it on hot, low speed it will all of a sudden jump to cool, high speed. I think for the money that I paid, it was a solid purchased and I am going to buy another one.

I recently used this hair dryer at a hotel and loved the results on my hair. When I got home I researched it and was pleasantly surprised that I could order it, and that it wasn’t some gate kept hotel secret. It’s powerful and dries my hair quickly without making it overly frizzy. I like how my hair feels afterward, great buy for the price!

Le encanto este secador profesional de pelo ya que es liviano y silencioso, a comparación de otros modelos y marcas, por lo que el uso es muy cómodo y debido a la ionización permite disminución en el tiempo de secado ya que rompe las moléculas de agua dejando el pelo suave, cuenta con tecnología de cerámica la cual conserva la humedad en el pelo dejando que se note el brillo en el pelo, gracias a los iones negativos evita el frizz. Es muy fácil de utilizar en la parte del mango inferior cuenta con un botón para Apagado, ajuste de velocidad Baja y ajuste de velocidad Alta “Off, Low, High”, en la parte de en medio del mango cuenta con un botón para ajustar los niveles de aire. Aire Fresco, Aire Cálido y Aire Caliente “Cool, Warm, Hot” en la parte superior del mango cuenta con un botón para enfriar el aire “símbolo de copo de nieve”. El secador incluye dos accesorios (peineta y concentrador de aire). El cable eléctrico es de tamaño normal, ni muy largo, ni muy corto, además de que en lugar de una típica y simple clavija eléctrica este secador cuenta con eliminador ó supresor de picos integrado en el cable que ayuda a proteger el secador evitando un corto ó hasta posible incendio, esto es lo que más me agrado de este articulo aparte de su precio, la marca se preocupa no nada más por el cuidado del articulo sino por la seguridad personal del cliente. Revisando las marcas que hay disponibles en el mercado, opte por comprar esta marca Andis ya que en varias reseñas comentan que la marca es muy buena y que elaboran secadores profesionales de pelo que duran por años además de que son excelentes porque son silenciosos y secan en menos tiempo y así es se ha comprobado. Compra certera y satisfacción total con el producto. Definate salon quality not too loud easy to use and control for heat is excellent. recommended.
