This was a great book, but it arrived with a cut in the front cover. It looks like a box cutter cut the front cover and the first few pages. Overall, it was an interesting book and I used it a lot in my class. Thank you Amazon!

This book warns against bad representation, but several times recommends problematic writers without discussing the pros and cons.

This book has given me a detailed perspective of literature in America, which cannot be discussed without understanding world events. Well written.
