So I'll start with the positives. Cucumbers and potatoes are easy to slice nice and thin. Onions, too. Garden fresh tomato did not fair well. It is mostly ok to clean and stores nicely in the box. Trying to slice vegetables like carrots or peppers can be tough. The guard doesn't do much to hold them steady. If you slice without the guard, you have to be very careful not to slip and slice your hand open. (I saw elsewhere where there have protective gloves that would work.) It is fairly easy to clean, unless something like carrot or red pepper was sliced. Then the only way to get the color out of the white parts is with bleach products. The guard that you should use for slicing actually got sliced up when I got down to the bottom of what I was slicing. It came with a vegetable peeler which broke. The crinkle-cut attachment did not work to make slices. It just tore things up. Haven't tried the smaller graters.

I love slicing veggies with this mandolin. It's fun to use and clean up is easy - just pop it in the dishwasher.I do have some concerns, most of which would likely be resolved if there was an instruction manual that was longer than one page. It could include examples of which cartridge to use for different applications - such as French fries, and how to use the spiralizer. Also I didn't get the little cleaning brush.Overall I like the product and will figure out how to use it to slice fries on my own.

I love making my dishes not just delicious but also well presented. I use this everyday when cooking our meals at home as well as the food I send to school for my kids. They just love it. No leftover and they'd even ask me to send more. It's nice to be able to serve great meals to your family in the comfort of your own home. And it's nice to feel more appreciated and loved. As it has always been said the way to your man's and kids' heart is through their stomach... and their eyes too.

For the price this is a good mandoline. It is all plastic except for the blades. The bonus peeler is pretty much useless. I use it daily for onions, zucchini, tomatoes, apples, and carrots. It has no problem cutting all of those.

My kids and I love this! We’ve already used it for so many different things. Tonight, we made potato chips 🙂 while our method of cooking it might’ve been off, it still turned out pretty good. They were so perfectly thin, and it was also easy clean up. Yes, even kids can do this (of course with the help of an adult guiding them). Can’t wait to use the spiralizer that came with it as well.

This slicer is fantastic for potatoes, carrots,and other hard items. It also worked great with Granny Smith apples,but not so good on softer apples like Gala. I’m looking forward to trying it to shred cheese.

Mandolin does a good job of cutting, but safety needs to be emphasized, as the blades n are very sharp. It would be helpful to give directions as to hownto n sharpen the blades
