Used it and had to return it. It needs to be covered with something or its loud as hell when you carry your climber around the woods.Also, I found it getting in my way half of the time depending on the distance between my chair and the platform so overall I just don't need it. If I wanted my knees bent more I just close down the distance between the platform and the chair.

I "misplaced" the old one off my ViperSD...this is an exact replacement. Easy to put on....adds hours to my sit by keeping me comfy and feeling secure.

I'm 50 but still dumb enough to sit in stand for 12 hours straight. As of late my hamstrings have been cramping and back hurting. No I'm not an old fat dude, I'm an active duty Marine. Adding the footrest has allowed me to use different positions and take stress off my old bones. Mounting is easy and the footrest has no negative impacts on transport, climbing, or use. Buy this as you won't regret it.

I have this Installed on my Summit tree stand. Had my doubts at first but after sitting in a tree stand for more than six hours it was well worth spending the money and put it on the tree stand makes a lot more comfortable for your legs

I would give it a 5 star but paint quality is not the best (just like the stands) and price is hefty for what it is. All it is is a piece of aluminium and some bolts, but I suppose you pay for comfort!I am happy with it on my Viper SD.More detailed:Really easy to install, all you need is a drill/impact with a phillips bit, 7/16 wrench/socket and a cresent wrench works to hold backup. Took about 10-15 minutes to install.I like how it folds over and it will be a great accessory for the stand without much added weight, being able to sit in comfort for long periods of time will be worth it! (Could be folded over all the way flush to the platform if I would move the plastic climbers up more)Paint quality is lacking, some spots show bare aluminium right out of the box, nothing that can't be touched up in the off season with some self etching primer/paint, tho still a bit of a let down... Summit claims to have durable powder coating but reality is different unfortunately.The foot rest seems solid right now, tho the brackets that screw into the frame of the stand are attached with A self taping screw, -we will see how long it stays tight, might have to end up giving it a couple of small welds if the screws ever back off, because 2 small self tappers is all that holds the foot rest to the platform.Happy with the purchase anyhow.
