I like the cover, it's easy to put on and take off and is fairly universal for pellet style smokers. The material is not a thick as some covers but that makes it easier to manipulate because it's not as stiff. It includes mesh vents on both sides that are stitched into a reflective stripe. On the stack side vent, it was stitched at the bottom of the mesh, instead of the top, so that is allows water to drip into it. The vent is below the shelf on my unit, so any water will simply drip through to the ground, but it was clearly a manufacturing defect. Not worth a return given my overall positive impressions of the cover. The color is still holding black, we will see what the sun does to it. My ZGrills cover turned from black to gray over just a few months, and then started ripping where it went over the corners of my smoker, but I have more hope for this one. Time will tell.

The cover that was sent was defective. On either end of the cover there is an air vent. On one of the sides the air vent cover was sewn on upside down, so instead of covering over the air vent opening, the vent covering material was actually sewn on upside down and would open up like a funnel and allow water to get under the cover. It'll probably be difficult to see but I have included a picture of the side of the cover showing how the vent covering was sewn on upside down.I requested to have Amazon send me a replacement cover but since the item was a third party seller and fulfilled by Amazon they could not do that.Amazon sent a label to print out, so I now have to repackage the defective cover and drive down to the UPS Store to drop it off and then purchase the cover again, so not so convenient!The cover itself seemed to be made of good quality material and it fit my grill really well. It's just unfortunate that it was defective and I had to go through the repackaging, driving down to drop it off and then repurchase another cover. I wish Amazon could have just been able to send me a replacement and have UPS pick up the defective cover!I'll give it another shot and re-order from the same seller, hopefully this time I'll get a good non defective one!

This fits my Pit Boss Austin 1100 well, with some space everywhere. This went on without much hassle, so easier to put over the BBQ, then the official Pit Boss one. My older Pit Boss cover, ripped around a couple of the seams (the stack and pellet hopper).As the picture shows that this one is not as tight to the edges or shape of the BBQ directly, I expect this will not have the same rips from the tighter fit of putting the grill cover on.The cover is fairly thick, but not quite as thick as the Pit Boss official. The tie strap looks to help hold the cover on my BBQ. While I mentioned it is looser, I do not fear it really blowing off my BBQ, although other reviews indicate this is a possibility. I have mine on a deck in the corner of a smaller town house backyard.Will have to see how the wind will effect it (if it does). I expect rain resistance to be fine, and will have to see what the Canadian winters do to it. At half the price of the official Pit Boss though, I have hopes for this cover to last as long as my old Pit Boss one did.
