Spice Box - Sheesham Wood Spice Box Container - Spice Box Holder

It shipped really quickly and it looks like as pictured! I'd give it 5 stars except that it is very, very dirty. I've been scrubbing out each little compartment plus the larger box for an hour, and it is finally getting cleaner. The sink water turned completely brown while I was washing it! It has a funny smell, but maybe it's the particular wood used, I don't know. I'm also using a knife to get out the glue that it in each corner of the little boxes (this only happened in one of the two sets I ordered... the other doesn't appear to have any glue in the creases. You can see in the picture how it looked after I cleaned out the corners as well as I could. Another image shows a box from the other set that was cleaner and has the spoon for size). I'm letting it dry in the sun and then I'll fill it up with spices. The spoon is a lot smaller than in the picture, but other than that it is as advertised. Just very dirty.

I wanted something pretty/fancy as a spice box and came across this wooden box. The delivery was quick and the seller is approachable. The box itself is nice and sturdy made of good wood. The only minus that I felt is that the product cannot be used as an everyday product or for rough use as the lid is a little flimsy. So as an alternate, I added different types of Indian mouth fresheners in this box and used it during lunch event we hosted. Definitely looks classy and expensive.

I had a personalized cooking lesson in Delhi and wanted this box as our chef had it. I have it at home and love it. Made well. Arrived quickly and is awesome although a tad expensive but worth the money if you have been to India and know how wonderful their people are, and how hard they all work to make ends meet.

I looked at the metal spice boxes but was drawn to this one with the wooden containers and glass lid. I love how functional and beautiful it is. It’s very well made and a pleasure to use. I keep it on my counter and enjoy seeing the many spices I love to cook with. As a bonus, my order included two beautiful coasters.

I'm so happy with my beautiful spice containers. They are lovingly handcrafted out of wood. I keep them on my counter as I like to prepare Indian food often. They are beautiful enough to leave out and high-light in the kitchen! And time-saving for sure as I can open one box and grab a bunch of different spices at once. Thank you for creating a beautiful product!

I LOVE IT! It's beautiful on it's own but filling it with the spices used in Indian cooking made it even more so. It looks nice sitting on the counter beside our stove and it's a lot easier to use than reaching into cabinets and drawers and removing lids from separate spice containers. I highly recommend this to anyone who uses a lot of different spices in cooking.

The only thing that would make this better is if the compartments were slightly deeper to hold more spice in them, But overall is a great Masala Dabba for spices one dose not use a lot of at once.

My friend loved this gift. The spoon was cracked when I received it but one e-mail and a new one was on the way. I think this is a wonderful value for the money!
