You definitely get what you pay for here. Not sure why they changed the picture but this is the 35 watt dual USB-C port charger. This is definitely not the original Apple charger. That charger will do 35 watts out of one port, but shares the 35 watts between the two ports so if a second device is plugged in, it splits the power. This one is just 17 watts per side, which the description DOES NOT say. It says it is PD 3.0 - it is not. PD 3.0 will negotiate 5, 9, 15 or 20 volts to get the most power a device can handle. This only goes to 9 volts. I can only assume the other side also does 17 watts - I only have one meter, but it did charge the second device while the meter showed the other side getting 17 watts. The picture shows a macbook plugged in which was pulling 20 volts (35 watts) from the Apple dual USB-C charger, but when plugged into this, only pulled 9 volts (17 watts). If they would just be honest and say it's a dual USB-C charger, that does 17 watts per side at 9 volts, at this price, I would probably five it 5 stars, assuming it lasts...

It works great just doesn't work with apple watch, but its a great product it charges my devices fast. That cable protectors are a great plus too.

The plug tension is good and it does exactly as advertised. I use it to charge my garmin watch and my iphone at the same time and its great! As the world is heading toward USB-C id say get it now while its this cheap.

Two days into using this cord and charger, it got so hot that it melted. I’m not sure if it was because of the spiral thing they sent with it (so your charger doesn’t bend while you use it during charging) but I wouldn’t trust it. I wasn’t using my phone while it was charging. It was on my counter. Only when I picked it up to unplug it, did I feel how hot it was. Smelt burning plastic and removed the spiral thing to see how melted it was. Amazon issued a $12 promotional credit and I’ll be buying a different charger.
