It's a dip it in ink and calligraphy. The pen nind are really cool and not easily breakable no leaks whatsoever. It's been a year now. The ink may dry up after several months. If you think it won't get messy, then let me correct you, any ink dipping products you are bound to make splashes. Still worth it to me because it's beautiful!

It's awesome for any calligrapher but have a suggestion to you if a point where a 55 degree and 50degree mentioned their muft have a point too to make a circular gridlines by inserting a notice board pin point to hold it will give a circular circles in fixed intervals tooo ......Mi like isomars very much

Purchased this in need of an engrosser ruler. The quality is good. Could be little cheaper.

The packaging is excellent. The presentation is excellent. The vintage flex nib and the manga/comic nib are excellent.What isn't excellent is the flat nibs, it grabs the paper and isn't smooth and polished for the price range. You can find better quality nibs for cheap from other brands/company. The manga/comic nib holder already has a deep gash/breakage that's not expected from this price band. I hope to find a replacement bottle of ink for regular use after this one runs empty. A slight more fit and finish with the nibs and this could be easily suggested to beginners and hobbyists. Currently, all I can say is "caveat emptor".

I thought this was the practice pad but i got the sketch book instead of practice pad.
