Nice, a modern designed air monitor that works efficiently!
The media could not be loaded. Air quality monitors are niche products nowadays but you won't realize the advantage of having such a product in the home until you use it at your home and see the real-time values being collected. I have used it for a week now and here is my take. I would highly recommend this product. My 2 cents below:Pros:- It does the job of air monitoring very well with all possible metrics to see– Сapture Pollen, CO, PM2.5, PM1.0, CO2, TVOC, Humidity, Temp- Very fancy looks and gives a great aesthetic to the home while in use- Smart products so accessible through mobile apps as well- Great build quality and feels very premium- Detailed manual with all steps and troubleshooting detailsCons:- Maybe price factor so that such products can be in access for many

accurate air quality monitor
This device includes all of the standard air quality measurements for a quick diagnosis. It undoubtedly overlooks specific pollutants, some of which are fairly common, such as ozone, and others, which are less common, such as radon and radioactivity. However, for day-to-day use, this device exceeds my expectations. For the CO2 level, I compared the readings with another device, and there is no more than a 5% difference in the readings at any given time, which is well within the level of accuracy I would expect. The Simbow Air-Guardian AQ Air Quality Monitor is a multifunctional indoor air quality monitor designed to provide real-time data and analysis of various air pollutants and environmental conditions within your indoor spaces. Here are the key features and benefits of this air quality monitor:Multiple Parameter Monitoring: The Air-Guardian AQ is capable of monitoring multiple air quality parameters, including:PM2.5 (fine particulate matter)PM10 (coarse particulate matter)CO2 (carbon dioxide)VOC (volatile organic compounds)FormaldehydeHumidityTemperatureReal-Time Data: The monitor provides real-time data on the levels of these pollutants and environmental conditions. Having access to real-time data allows you to make informed decisions to improve indoor air quality.Multifunctional: This monitor is multifunctional, offering a comprehensive view of indoor air quality beyond just measuring particulate matter. It provides insights into potential sources of air pollution, including volatile organic compounds and formaldehyde.Easy Calibration: Calibration is essential for ensuring the accuracy of air quality measurements. The monitor typically offers easy calibration options, allowing you to maintain precise and reliable readings over time.Data Display: The monitor often features a clear and user-friendly display that shows all the monitored parameters and their respective values. This display allows you to quickly assess indoor air quality at a glance.Alerts and Notifications: Some monitors may provide alerts or notifications when air quality parameters exceed predefined thresholds. These alerts can help you take immediate action to address air quality issues.Historical Data: The ability to store and access historical data allows you to track changes in air quality over time. It can be useful for identifying trends or patterns and assessing the effectiveness of air quality improvements.Portable Design: Many indoor air quality monitors are designed to be portable, allowing you to move them to different rooms or locations within your home or office for comprehensive monitoring.Data Logging: Some monitors can log and store data for extended periods. You can then review and analyze this data to gain a better understanding of air quality trends.Health and Safety: Monitoring indoor air quality is essential for the health and safety of occupants, as poor air quality can have adverse health effects. A monitor like the Air-Guardian AQ can help you identify and mitigate potential risks.Environmental Awareness: Monitoring air quality is also beneficial for environmental awareness and sustainability efforts, as it can help you identify areas where energy-efficient ventilation and filtration systems can be implemented to reduce indoor pollution.

AQI stuck at 500 and Zero Response from Customer Support
I've emailed twice in the last 10 days. I also tried calling their international number but it's out of service... seems like they went out of business

Excellent Value
I'm very pleased with the accuracy, size, and price of this device. The calibration feature is a plus and not found on others with higher price point. I recently developed allergies and wanted to monitor the air quality at home, work, and basically anywhere I traveled. This device was also helpful in confirming that my two large air purifiers at home were actually doing a great job. I would have given this device 5 stars if the battery life was a little longer but still extremely pleased with this purchase. I highly recommend for anyone who needs a portable lightweight but sturdy air quality monitor.

Not a Toy. But a Very Useful Instrument
If you can measure it, you can fix it....so the old saying goes. I purchased this Simbow Air Quality Monitor after considerable research and in quest for a desktop device to monitor indoor AQ amidst the Canadian Wildfire pollution. My summary 5-star rating doesn't technically add up. That infers perfection, which isn't the case for this device. But to dock it a star is misleading as well. If it were a 10-pt rating system, this AQM easily achieves a 9 IMHO. First complaint is the read-out/display. As others have aptly opined, with or without backlight, you cannot view it from straight on....with or without the screen protector too. The best viewing angle is ~ at 20-30*. A second complaint is the temperature accuracy. The AQM is consistently 2-3*F higher than any thermometer I have in the house. I attribute that to the unit generating its own heat and not reflecting the true air ambient temperature. While that might seem trivial, but if the AQI and related metrics are computed using air temp (and humidity), then it might tweak the results a bit. Another thing (as others have mentioned) is the dinky user's manual is extremely hard to read.....but it is important to read in order to understand and better interpret the readings. Btw, the manual does show how to change the temperature units (*C vs. *F); also how to turn on/off the AQI alert. The set-point for the AQI alert is fixed, however....not adjustable. Also, the World Heath Organization (WHO) recommended target limits in the back of the manual have some minor errors and are a bit confusing to the novice, like me. Attached is a cleaned up version of the WHO chart, but don't hang your hat on it either!!! But it might be useful to some. As far as the AQI dial (green/yellow/red circle), the two PM values (to the right of the dial) are the primary metrics driving the AQI pointer. So if you happen to have an AQI app which you monitor and say, there's poor AQ outside due to smoke, etc....then if your windows are open or somehow outside air infiltrates your home, then the corresponding PM2.5 & PM10 metrics will climb, as does the AQI dial. But the other 3 metrics to the left of the AQI dial, seemingly have little to no effect on the AQI all other things being equal. For sure the CO2 levels in the home have minimal if any effect on the AQI. You can breathe heavily on the monitor and max out the CO2 in short order....and the AQI won't budge. I notice when I sit down to my PC desk where my AQI monitor sits, that the CO2 levels will creep upwards and then subside after I leave. This is NOT to say that CO2 levels are unimportant, but apparently they don't factor into the AQI's computation. FYI, the EPA reported AQI's computation is VERY complex and each metric has a separate weighting component. Furthermore, the AQI considers numerous pollutants not measured by this AQM. The TVOC & HCHO do have a small 'voice' in this AQI's response. But in the case of the HCHO wrt WHO target limits, it is puzzling that values < 0.12 mg/m3 are considered GOOD, whereas values > 0.12 mg/m3 are Unacceptable...even HAZARDOUS!?!? That doesn't really add up. In summary, despite all this detail, I view this AQI monitor as a very good instrument to have around ..... and it represents good value IMO. If you get one of these AQM's, plug it in (and leave it plugged in), calibrate it and then just get used to it for awhile. Read up on reliable AQ improvement suggestions depending on which metric is causing it. So now that you can measure it, you can fix it! :)

Battery is essential but not reliable
Battery doesn't want anymore to take a charge and the unit need the battery to power on. Very expensive and not reliable.
