I’ve never done embroidery and bought this to start with. It’s not a beginner’s skill project. It’s cute but very misleading

I loved making this! There definitely was a bit of a learning curve, I had to redo some of the plants a few times due to my own mess ups/not being careful enough. Even still, I had plenty of remaining thread so that’s great.This is a bit of a challenging kit, you have to be very careful to make sure you’re using the correct thread count and colors as it’s not marked on the fabric itself (it would be easier if the different colors were represented on the fabric pattern but that might not have been possible).DEFINITELY make sure that you WATCH THE VIDEOS! The directions in the packet (especially the final sewing together of the bag) are not adequate and the videos are very helpful. Once I finished putting the bag together, a hair dryer quickly faded the blue markings completely. I’m showing pictures of the embroidery in progress, complete (before assembly) and the final product. It is SO CUTE.I would say it took longer than I expected but I loved the final product.
