A Swim Instructor’s Dream Wetsuit Top
As a swim teacher who spends long hours in chilly pools during the summer, I can't express enough how thrilled I am with this insulated women's wetsuit top. From the very first use, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it kept me warm and comfortable in the water. The fit is fantastic - it contours to my body without feeling restrictive, allowing me to move freely while teaching my students. The insulation truly works wonders, making those early morning and late evening lessons much more bearable. The quality of the material is evident in its durability and stitching, and I appreciate the attention to detail in the design. One of the features I love is the easy on-and-off process. It's incredibly convenient, especially when I have back-to-back lessons and need to change quickly. The wetsuit top dries relatively fast, which is a lifesaver when I'm juggling multiple sessions.Overall, this insulated women's wetsuit top has been a game-changer for me as a swim teacher. It has not only kept me warm but has also enhanced my teaching experience. If you're looking for reliable gear that will keep you cozy in cold waters, this wetsuit top is a must-have addition to your swim wardrobe.

It works!!!!
I run very cold. I swim laps in an indoor pool that is on the cool side for me (78F), and even though I swim energetically, I am literally shivering halfway through my workout. Swimming, which I love, felt like torture. I wish I had know about this top years ago! I was skeptical, but it works. I used it twice so far. The first time I hadn't washed it yet so maybe it fit a bit looser so water did seep in and out through my workout, meaning that even though it helped, I still felt a bit cold (just less cold than usual). The second time was the charm! It was more watertight and kept me warm throughout a whole 50-min workout! Now, it does add quite a bit of drag. That takes some getting used to, and it will slow you down. It will also be a really effective strength training! I had hit a wall and now I feel my muscles are getting challenged again. For reference: I'm 5'2", 96 lbs, chest 34A, and got a Small. It fits me perfectly. I had to adjust the wrists and neck a bit as I am very bony with thin wrists, but once you are wet it stays in the right place. Also, when you put it on dry it feels sooo cozy and looks cool. I might even use it as a dry fleecy top one day... Fingers crossed it lasts and keeps working well!PS. Kudos to Amazon Questions and everyone who answered mine when I was deciding on buying this. So helpful!

So cozy
Full disclosure: I wear this to stay warm refereeing roller derby, I have not worn it in the water yet. It is so light weight and so soft and warm, I love it so much. I would like pants just like this top.

Snug fit, wonderful chill guard
The shirt was quite pricey, but it felt wonderful in the water, and took away any chill. The snug fit sport concerned me, but it loosened substantially when wet. If it weren’t so pricey, I would have purchased more but since they pretty much own this space, not quite a wet suit, but more than a rash shirt, I am waiting for prime days or hopefully a deal to come up.

Keeps me warm
I wore this top in Belize last week to snorkel and to do cave exploring. I stayed warm and was able to enjoy the activity because of that. A very nice shirt which I have washed with no problems.

Seams are all puckered
I bought two of these shirts, one for me and one for my wife. My shirt looked good, but my wife's shirt looked funny. All of the seams were puckered up and do not sit flat when she puts it on. As far as the shirts them selves, they do see to keep us warmer when snorkling for a long period. And when we get out of the water they drain fast and add a layer of warmth while warming back up. I feel that with all the cheap fleece clothing out there that the price is way too high for what it is, a thick fleece shirt. I wanted to return my wife's, but ran out of time do to being gone on vacation. Looks like she will have to wear it looking like it does.

Warm and snug
I really liked that the Small fit when I normally wear XS. I LOVED that the top fit snugly and did NOT ride/float up in the pool through vigorous exercises. It’s been cold where I usually end up shivering by the end of class; this didn’t happen with the O’Neill Thermo-X. I’m buying another one!

Just love it
I love swimming, but not feeling motivated when thinking of jumping into the pool in the cold days, so I bought this top. I used it twice so far. Hand wash once, machine wash once. Hang dry. It came out in a great shape, not peeling, quick dry even right out of the washing machine. The inside shirt is very soft with soft fleece. Not rubbing on my skin or my under arms. What I like it most is that it does not swell in water, making me feel like a balloon like some other top, and it is not heavy at all when it wet. I am 5’6”, 160 lbs. 34C. I got an X-Large, but hoping for one size larger, so I can feel a little more comfy wearing it dry from home to the pool. When it is dry, it looks pretty small, but it still fits me . It is just me who always wear loose comfort clothing, so I prefer it a little bigger. 5 stars. I recommended it to my friends too.

A large neck opening but a great layer for under a wetsuit or on its own
I’m about 140 lbs and 5’8” and opted for the large. I think a medium might fit me better but there’s been a huge price jump so I’ll keep what I have. It would work very well for a woman with large breasts because it’s generous in an area that I don’t need. The neck opening is not as small as I’d like but I’ve also bought a light weight nylon hood with bib that tucks in nicely under this shirt, and will cover the exposed area. The body and arms are nice and long and the thumb loops will make getting it on under a wetsuit easier. I may even wear this under other things for walks on windy winter days.
