Useless. Just use a sharp knife.
This was absolutely and totally useless. Most of the carrot potatoes just ended up on the floor rather than in the tub. It went straight in the recycling bin and I’m just gonna use a sharp knife from now on.

Compact size
This grater is a very nice. The problem for me is it is hard for me to use. I am keeping it so I can learn how to use it better. While my manual grater is very good, I thought this would be better. I do love the catch container and it comes with four different shredders. The size makes it a great gift for a first time apartment renter or new cook.

MAKE SURE TO USE THE HANDGUARD!
My sister almost chopped her friggin finger off, we all griped at her for not using the safety handguard that comes with it. The blades are VERY sharp.

Nice cut potatoes for Au Gratin. Wish the bottom food container had a top for storing.

Love the Safety Glove
I have not used all the features on this mandolin, but plan to. My main concern for getting a new one was the safety issue as well as a more convenient way of changing out the blades. I have one from another company that I have sliced my finger was too many times so I do not even want to use that one!!
