StellarElement 30cm Crepe Pan, Black, Non-Stick, Dishwasher Safe, Induction Oven Suitable

I have many Stellar pieces in my cookware collection and they are generally excellent quality and long lasting and I thought this crepe pan would be no different. I read some other reviews which appear mixed but I decided to give it a go. It's sturdy and the non stick surface seems to work very nicely in making large and thin crepes which is great, however it came out of the box with a slightly raised centre, and during cooking it warps quite badly with the middle section lifting upward with a pronounced bulge - I checked with a wooden straight edge when it was hot and the centre point was a solid two or three millimetres higher than the out extents of the pan. So much for "flat!"That being said, it seems not to affect the crepes appreciably. But still, for such a simple pan in this price range I expect better than unsightly warping during cooking. Others have had the same issue, so I wouldn't recommend this product. Next time I'd pony up the extra for Le Creuset.

As our old Stellar crepe pan lasted 12 years before the dishwasher finally got the better of it. So it made sense to buy the same and we are not disappointed one bit. In fact the new one appears to be a better design in terms of the underside now looks stronger with an additional layer to disperse the heat. Top quality and providing nobody forgets to allow it to cool naturally and resists the temptation to stick it under the cold tap, I expect it to last even longer than the first.

Seemed a good idea but I've not found it easy to use on induction hob

I had to return this pan because it was faulty. It does not sit steady on a flat surface, has a raised area in the middle , and does not distribute heat evenly.

I bought this product as a Xmas gift. My friend loves it. Good quality and looks very nice as well.

Very happy with this item - we have bought a number of Stellar pans now and have been impressed with how reliable, well made and reasonably priced they all are. Would highly recommend.
