I bought them for my husband who has hard thick nails. They feel and look like a professionals item. Nice and solid. They work smoothly and make cutting much easier. I would reccomend these clippers.

These were wonderful for getting into corners. They appear at first handling very durable and great for thick nails. The tip is sharp so caution would be advised.

Have arthritis in my hands. This clipper is so easy to use. Needs very little pressure to close the blades. The blades are remarkably sharp. Best clipper I have ever used.

Studying this problem led to a realization that there are different geometric approaches to this problem, and I tried two different approaches. The attached pictures show the differences, both side-by-side and in the details of the clipping tips in comparable orientation.The shorter tips, oriented normal to the cut direction (BLESWIN), were stronger than the longer tips oriented parallel to the cut (RIMEI). They may be equally sharp, but the BLESWIN cuts more easily then the RIMEI because the BLESWIN geometry and leverage simply work better.
