I like it's compact size because it fits in the very small space on my end table. Its appearance is as pictured on the website. Its sturdy and not nearly as heavy as my very old Sony Cd boombox, which also plays cassette tapes. The sound comes out of right & left sides of the player. The handle flips into position and makes carrying the player with one hand easy.The sound quality is very good and is easily moved from one level higher or lower very quickly and easily by pressing on the +/- volume buttons. A numeric volume level shows up clearly on the screen while you increase or decrease the volume.The LCD readout is easily viewed in daylight or at night. I haven't used it's Bluetooth capabilities.All the buttons are marked for all the different functions and the symbols are easily seen in view screen.The booklet explains how to use each one, if there are questions. Most of the time I use it to play audio books and am very happy with it's ability to read the very old and sometimes scratched library Cd audio books, as well as newer ones.And it works well with MP3 Cd audio books, too. My favorite FM radio station comes in as clear as the one in my vehicle.Since I've only had it a few days I haven't tried all of the other available functions.For instance, I haven't tried recording anything to a flash drive, just haven't had a reason to as yet.I bought it mainly to listen to audio books. I plan on getting a second one for additional back up, since I only have 2 boomboxes. My other one is at least 10 years old, and I wanted to try the newer Jensen CD-660 Portable Stereo CD Player Boombox with Bluetooth | FM Radio | USB | Aux-in because it seemed to have everything I wanted and more.I am a very satisfied customer.

It is very light weight and has great sound quality for its small size. I have many old CDs that I like to take when I go camping and there is no local radio stations to tune in for a little music. Remote areas often have no decent radio stations within the camp area. So, for me old CDs are nice to bring along. Very nice little radio/CD player.

Wanted this in order to be able to record from the radio to a USB memory stick. Works great for that. It's mp3 format, 128 kbps. Reception is from a wire antenna you hang or drape. I am picking up FM stations from a reasonable distance, with the expected static. This performs as well as any small radio should. A little awkward figuring out which buttons do what in each mode. Takes practice, not just intuition, for setting the channel memory. Also, the USB playback banners are a bit awkward compared to my Sony ZS-RS60BT, which runs a full scroll of the folder name and mp3 file. The Sony also remembers where you are in a folder for playback when it is shut off, so you can come back to the playlist at the same spot as long as you don't lose power. But for radio recording, the Jensen is small, easily portable, and a real charmer. I recommend it for that purpose. Playback is fine, with impressive sound distribution, but if USB playback is your primary usage then look elsewhere.

I bought this CD player because I thought it was portable and looked nice. I was very foolish not to purchase insurance. It came when I was very busy and I didn't get around to using it right away. When I did It worked great once and never again. I tried using new batteries, different outlets to charge it, etc. It will not do anything. I should have done more research, but it had good reviews. Ultimately it is my fault for not getting insurance.( I need to update this review. This company stands behind its' products and fixed my problem. I would definitely recommend this product. It is a great CD player and I could not be happier with it!)

It plays a verity of inputs and the speakers are great, especially if you are hard of hearing as you can increase the volume much more than the other version, It's my favorite and I use it a lot!

I wish I could give it more stars. The quality is good, sound good, appearance good. I basically love everything about it except it is too loud on the lowest volume setting. You should be able to better adjust the volume but you can't. If they could fix that, then it would be perfect.

The device died after 3-4 months use. Called the company number, gave me a different phone number. When Ibrrached that they took no responsibility, and gave me a different phone number in California, which does not answer, and has no voice mail setup. So the whole thing is one big hoax. Too late to return , per Amazon rules. Don’t buy!!!

I was looking for a compact radio/CD player to replace the rather huge boom box I have. This is just what I was looking for.I appreciate the small size and blue color and it does what I want it to. It also has a lot of other functions that I doubt I will use. Although, I didn't think I'd use the Bluetooth and I am, so, who knows? Old dogs...new tricks.Since the unit has multiple functions, the buttons also have multiple functions, which can be frustrating/confusing. So far I'm remembering which I push for what. If I go a long time without using it, I may need to come up with my own labels. For now, I just keep the user's guide nearby.The sound is not great, which is to be expected with such a small footprint. But I'm not super picky, so it's good enough for me. Speakers are on the sides, so allow for that when deciding on placement.

Small and versatile, I just love this portable music player. It can play my old CDs and other music formats, plus there's a radio. I bought two of these because they are fabulous!
