NOT ACCURATE, DON'T USE IT AS A SPEEDOMETER
I bought this to give me the exact speed my car is when driving as I know the speedometer on the car isn't actually accurate. This shows your speed and looks beautiful but it's not accurate. It showed the same as my speedometer.I took the care for a drive with this and also another GPS device and this unit is up to 10% out. Please nobody use it thinking the speed showing is accurate.

Boy racer or project car ...
The media could not be loaded. Would I have this in my car permanently ??? NOFirstly the thing feels quite cheap and the bracket on the back which goes into the suction cup mount is poorly made. It takes a lot of finessing and a sand paper to get this to mate up properly. The quality of the moulding is terrible.Once in place though and stuck to my windscreen it gets better. It would be suited to any project builds or transport that does not have speed indication, it calculates speed via GPS. It also give you heading too, not that you would need that in a car.The display is pretty clear, it's nothing fancy, just segmented display backlit with bright leds. Visible in bright sunlight. In the right circumstances like I said, project build, go-kart, electric scooter even it might be a viable option but for use in a car? No thanks ...

Okay
This an interesting device for the car that combines a satellite connection to deliver a reading of your speed and other information such as cardinal direction, height, and time and date.Starting with the most basic of those, time; this needs to be adjusted from the default, and if you lose power, it will revert.Power is by a long Micro-USB cord, and Micro-USB these days tends to indicate something has been put together more cheaply, using the obsoleted standard rather than USB-C.The power cord's angle suits flat mounting, ie, sticking this to the top of the dash, it comes with a sucker adaptor for glass, and this works okay -- on glass but is pretty hopeless on any other surface. When using this, the power cord didn't work so well due to the angle of the connection. The issue will always be the USB power cord, which is long, but then needs routing - tidily and safely so as not to interfere with driving controls to the USB socket. The display is quite colourful and adjusts to light conditions, but it is hard to read in bright sunlight. The fully lit display is a little busy, but the single control button can cycle through variations to speed alone, showing. It's hard to see where this fits in with most people's needs.A smartphone with an app will deliver all this info and more.If you have a vehicle where the Speedo is hard to read, inaccurate, or even broken, and you need something you can see more clearly, this is useful.
