Nepenthes Ramispina is a beautiful and interesting Highland species of the mossy forest of Peninsular Malaysia. The launchers can reach 20 cm in height, and are dark purple to black in colour, with a contrasting lime green interior. Top launchers are usually less intensely coloured, and are pale green with black spot. Nepenthes Ramispina can be an easy to develop nepentha. It prefers a well-drained media which often includes a generous portion of long-fibre sphagnum. Other soil ingredients may include peat foam, washed sand, charcoal, horticultural orchid bark and fibre oyster. Highland nepenthes require fresh nights to develop well and form the launchers.
