I have been looking for products that make cleaning more efficient and enjoyable, especially tools that my mother can use as she has difficulty bending due to her necrosis.This vacuum is fantastic! It is very lightweight and so aesthetically appealing. I love the attachments for vacuuming your upholstery, car, linens, and for getting into all those nooks and crannies. Its very easy to set up, extend, convert, and empty! I appreciate that you don’t have to charge the entire unit, but rather just remove the battery pack and connect it to the included charger. It charges in about 4 hours and the solid light takes the guesswork out of figuring out when the battery pack is charged. I also have enjoyed the fresh scent that comes from the hand base when using the vacuum thanks to the included tablet. When I was looking for a vacuum I wanted to make sure that the vacuum head swiveled, which this one does and it’s such a great feature. The vacuum also comes with a wall unit for storing. We have yet to attach it, but it you attach it to the inside of your door closet then your vacuum is out of sight and nearly stored. If you don’t use the wall unit, be careful when standing the unit as the hand unit is heavier than the bottom and the vacuum will tip over or slide.Now, I have realized that this vacuum was not made for fluffy carpets or even thick mats (e.g., fluffy bathroom mats, rubber style anti-fatigue mats). You can use it on thinner rugs and it’ll suction just fine—I’ve used it on a very thin rug that I lay under my kittens’ litter box and cat tree—but definitely not a shaggy or fluffy carpet. I tried using it on the fluffier bathroom mats and it was not an easy feat. However, I didn’t purchase the vacuum with the intent or need to use it on carpet or mats but rather on tile and laminate wood floors—and it works amazing on those!My only two gripes are that 1) the charge only lasts about 30 min (but that is mentioned in their product photos) and that 2) when you use the faster speed (2nd click) it goes faster but then you can hear it slow down after a few minutes. I mostly use the normal speed anyways so it’s not a deal breaker for me, but I do wish it maintained the power throughout that faster speed.Those two things aside, which again aren’t deal breakers for me, I think this hard floor vacuum is a value added home cleaning tool. We absolutely love it and if you have kittens/cats it is an absolute necessity to pick up all those litter pieces they sometimes drag onto the floor. It’s also jaw dropping to see just how much dust collects in the filter—gross but also there’s no way your dustpan and broom is picking all that up!

Verdict: (reasons and details further down if you’re interested)If you want a cute dust buster, this is a good product. Do not expect it to do any actual cleaning. I might keep this vacuum for my kids to clean up their own messes/crumbs, but I will probably return it. To actually clean, I will get a Shark wand vacuum like I was planning. (I’ve used Shark uprights for 10+ years, but our new house has an all hard-floor main level. I wanted a lighter, lower-profile, cordless, wall-mount vacuum to keep on the main floor, so I don’t have to go find, haul, and plug in an upright vacuum, and switch plugs when I move to another room, in order to keep the floor hair, crumb, and debris-free.)Reasons for opinion:When people say this has good suction power, I don’t know what they’re comparing it to. On full suction, the battery drains incredibly fast (the box is accurate on the 30 min “run time”). And as the power drains, so does the suction power, and you can HEAR it get weaker, so you get about 10 min of full power suction, which is great for cleaning up one mess (like spilled crumbs). The vacuum is cute and feather light, I like the wall mount so it stores out of the way of stuff (like in a closet or a corner), and the telescoping wand is nice for quick switching from floor vacuuming to upholstery vacuuming (or letting your kids use it).This is not a vacuum for serious cleaning. I have two dogs (one double-coated and one wire-coated, and both drop hair, though the double-coated dog’s shedding is responsible for 99% of the hair I have to clean up) and two (soon-to-be-three) little girls. I charged the vacuum all the way before trying it on my hard floor entryway/kitchen/dining area. Vacuum run time could NOT have been more than 20 minutes - probably closer to 15 - and by the end of that, battery power was at 20% and the vacuum wouldn’t even suck up a shard of walnut shell (like with the brush attachment off and holding the hose ON TOP on the nut shell - wouldn’t even budge it). The visible hair and crumbs I did get up took multiple slow passes of the vacuum, even at full power. I don’t think this would clean carpet or rugs AT. ALL.On hard floor, I want to be able to swing my vacuum head across the floor quickly and have it pick up all the dirt, hair, crumbs, and debris in one pass. With my upright vacuums, I can do that, but they’re heavy and not super maneuverable. For me, having to do multiple, slow, back-and-forth passes on hard floor is a deal-breaker: that’s not how I want to clean my hard floors. I want to get as much of the loose stuff up as quickly as possible to prep for mopping with my Shark Hydrovac or just to be done with the chore quickly. I used to use Swiffer Sweepers, and they’re great - I just don’t like having to go get the vacuum anyways to clean up the pile of stuff I’ve swept. So, the Homeika viral vacuum is NOT the vacuum for someone like me who wants to do serious, thorough cleaning, as quickly as possible, in a house full of kids and pets.It is really cute though, and I’m tempted to keep it just so my little kids have a vacuum their size so they can “help” while doing chores. It’s super light, and the telescoping handle shortens to a perfect, kid-sized vacuum. My soon-to-be-4-year-old LOVED being given a turn to use it, and my 7-year-old tried to cut in and take a turn of her own before she was done cuz it looked so fun. (We have the bright pink one because that color shipped the fastest.)

I ordered 2 vacuums, one for myself and 1 as a Christmas gift. I found the suction power to be poor. The gift vacuum worked well the first few uses but unfortunately would no longer charge after that. I am now waiting to hear back from the company to get my money refunded.

I bought this hoover from the UK after having used a car hoover for a while. It came 6 days earlier than expected which was amazing. Easy to set up. Good suction with a setting for intense suction. Looks great. Lovely colour.
