I remember these as a kid so when I saw this, I got it so my kids could experience how fun it is. This provides endless art creations that are fun and creative. The stand is really nice for displaying the art creations.We have had some challenges with getting the right amount of air in it using the included syringe and needle. It seems to either move to slowly or too fast. Not a big deal though.

Got this for my office/WFH desk. Overall, it is not a bad addition.PROS:The blue/white/gold fleck color combo is STUNNING.The product is ingenious--they give you this little syringe that you can add more air/take out some air from the device. Pretty cool.CONS:Upon closer inspection, one is bound to notice that this is not super well-made. The base is detachable and is also fairly flimsy plastic.The "sand" is not all sand--there is some air involved obvi, and for some reason, there is some water too. End result is that you have "bubbles" in your sand art, which makes it look like you filled it with soapy water (no, like, seriously). This wasn't a good look, in my opinion.Maybe this is a ME problem, but I could never get the sand to run down at optimal speed. When I first got it, the sand ran down too quickly. The instruction sheet said "add more air" if this was an issue. Some air was added (less than 1/2 syringe full), only for the sand to totally stop moving.Bottom line: good idea and the color combo is fabulous. If you want to have a piece of art on your desk that looks pretty and don't care whether the sand moves (unless you consciously move it), this isn't a bad option. But if you're looking for a "constantly in motion" type of art or something that is really well-made and will be a statement piece, you might want to wait until company does some quality control to see if this product can be improved upon.4/5 stars for the idea (did I mention the syringe thing was cool?) and the beautiful color.

At first, I was disappointed because it is so small. Once I turn it a few times & allow the sand to settle in, it will do the trick. I guess I will look for something bigger than this. I like blue and white with tiny bits of copper or gold color. I like to have several items for anxiety calming or stress relief for my kids, but it didn't affect them like it does me. This is simple, but it has been very calming and nice decoration for either bedroom or living room. I can turn it 180 degrees or even half a degree and it is mesmerizing, especially with the tiny amount of glitter. It came with a syringe to keep the correct balance of air, water, and sand, but I'm not even sure I'll make it work. I will buy another one soon bigger refrain from buying one of each color and turning them all at once.

I know that if you've seen multiple of my reviews through on Amazon I use it's awesome a lot totally awesome whatever and that's because you know what I'm saying is awesome I think it's awesome and this is totally awesome you know who would have thought that a little soon cylinder shaped piece of plastic with some water and sand or whatever it is in there could be entertaining and it is it makes some cool pictures sometime or like you know kind of painting type landscape stuff but I mean if you're into this sort of thing you're totally going to like this totally cool totally awesome
