Are you tired of feeling cramped and uncomfortable at your desk? Do you long for a solution that promotes both productivity and health? Look no further than the FLEXISPOT EC1 Electric Adjustable Height Standing Desk.As someone who endured years of discomfort, and even surgery, due to the toll of prolonged sitting, I know firsthand the importance of investing in ergonomic solutions. The transition from a traditional desk to the FLEXISPOT EC1 has truly been a game changer for me.Gone are the days of sacrificing comfort. With its spacious 48 x 30 inch desktop and sleek design, this desk not only enhances your workspace, but also complements any home office aesthetic. I’ve had this desk for one month, and I’m thrilled with the FLEXISPOT EC1 Electric Adjustable Height Standing Desk. It’s affordable, well-made, versatile, and multi-functional.What sets this desk apart is its smooth, seamless transition between sitting and standing positions, effortlessly accommodating your body's needs throughout the day. Whether you prefer to sit in a traditional desk chair or perch on an adjustable height wobble stool (I use both), this desk provides the versatility and functionality you crave.Beyond its ergonomic benefits, the FLEXISPOT EC1 has proven invaluable for various tasks beyond typical office work. From home projects requiring ample space to makeshift dining arrangements in small living spaces, this desk adapts to your lifestyle with ease. There is a very slight pebble texture to the desktop, which gives it a semi-matte appearance, which softens any reflections or lighting glare. The motor's cord is nice and long, and I neatly bundled any excess length beneath the desk. Before purchasing, I conducted extensive research, and found that the FLEXISPOT EC1 offers the best value without compromising quality. Unlike other desks with split desktops, this model boasts a seamless, whole-piece design, ensuring both durability and aesthetics. Some reviews mentioned the desktop and base arriving separately on different days, which proved to be true. The shipments arrive via UPS, not Amazon. One order is considered to be one shipment, with just one tracking number. Should you have any questions about your delivery, Amazon Customer Service is happy to assist. While assembly seemed daunting at first, between the instructions, YouTube video, and commentary from previous reviews, I was able to assemble it correctly. (The most helpful comments were in regards to using caution when assembling the transmission rod.) Though I encountered a couple of hiccups along the way, they were easily resolved, and the end result far outweighs any minor inconvenience. In conclusion, the FLEXISPOT Adjustable Height Standing Desk has exceeded my expectations. This desk has transformed my workspace into a haven of comfort and productivity. If you're considering investing in your health and well-being, don't hesitate to make the switch to this FLEXISPOT desk. Trust me, it's worth every penny and more.

Great stand-up desk. Easy, sturdy, solid
This desk is a very good value. I've been using one for work for about 9 months. Up and down a couple times per day. I like it so much we bought another to replace a cheaper desk for my HS junior. I'd love to see if anyone could do better than this desk at this price point.Pros:+ Very sturdy, even at highest setting+ Quiet movement--I've adjusted during conference calls with no disruption to the call+ One solid piece desktop--no seams+ Size: I have the 55" X 28" I have two 24" monitors and my laptop as third display. Plenty of room for all of those side by side, an ergonomic keyboard, a lamp, two bookshelf speakers, a label printer and plenty of work space still.+Size, Part Deux: I have a 20" wide portable set of drawers I put under it. Fits great, plenty of room for my legs under it in the down/seated position.+ Slightly beveled edge--doesn't dig into wrists with sharp edge+ Easy to assemble. I don't know how one reviewer said it took him 2 days and 2 adults. The first one took me a 90 minutes, by myself. Second one about 45 minutes by myself.Cons: (really minimal, and petty)- Instructions were a little challenging at first, especially the connecting rod (one motor, turns a rod that connects to both legs so both legs adjust with gears) and the cross brace. Once you figure out that the hardware (legs/braces/motor) kit is designed to work with desktops of multiple widths, and that you just extend the connecting rod and cross brace to the width of this desk, it's easy.- No pre-drilled second hole for the control panel. You screw in the front into a pre-drilled hole, but then have to drill your own pilot for the second screw. If you don't put the second screw in, the controller will spin. Took 9 seconds to drill the hole + 90 seconds to get drill and bit from garage.- Surface had an ever so slight texture (while laminated version). No problems for me when writing--I don't even notice. If I was doing very precise drawing/drafting work, it might need a smooth topper.Buy it. Stop reading reviews or researching. This is the one. And I am not receiving any kind of incentive for this review. I am likely to get a third one for our youngest son.

5/5 - A budget option with no compromise
Beautiful, sturdy, spacious - An outstanding standing desk for a fraction of the cost of premium options. I've used a small handful of standing desks, including a Herman Miller from my office, and I can confidently say this is a great option for an equivalent for the home.Assembling the desk required a bit of work, particularly as the leg and base is astonishingly heavy, however, I managed in just around two and a half hours. There are videos online which are super helpful, but aside from the weight of the materials, the assembly is no more difficult than a typical IKEA furniture.Super sturdy and stable, not much more to ask for. I feel as though this is the best bang for your buck standing desk out there. Super happy.Side note: I did not notice any unevenness, I suspect the couple of reviews that state this is because they accidentally turned on of the transmission rod when it was inserted on to only one of the legs during assembly--I for sure did. To remedy this, simply turn the transmission rod counter clockwise for both legs (to achieve the shortest maximum length) then re-insert the rod.

Great desk!
Aside from two of the holes to attach the legs to the table being off, this is a great desk! It's surprisingly sturdy and heavy. It was a little challenging for one person to put together but it was absolutely doable and I got it done, no power tools needed.

Amazing quality
I bought 2 desks for my husband and I, and I can’t be more happy. The quality is great, I love the matte finish. It fits perfectly in my « pure » design.

Good value for money
The desk is great, arrived right on time. The assembly requires attention, but it is quite easy. The desk top came with minor scratches, but nothing too visible. If you get the black finish, be prepared for finger marks. But, overall, it was a very nice purchase, and I would recommend it.

Smooth operation for sit to stand
I bought this product to use for my small business. It is used to pack order draw at and complete general computer tasks. I love the size of the desktop (being 28” instead of the normal 24” allows me the extra space I need to hold my printer, cricut, and computer). This fits exactly the space I needed. The desk was relatively easy to put together. Although I would recommend two people as it would be difficult (not impossible) to turn over once assembled. It easily and quietly extends from a sitting position to a standing position at the touch of a button and goes higher than I would need at 5’9” for standing. So far it has met my expectations for a sit to stand desk.
