Chilling Story of Gross Injustice!
I was told to read this book by my ex-husband who is one of David’s half-brothers sharing a dad. I started it yesterday and finished today and it only took that long because I had to sleep and go to work today. I don’t personally know any of the people mentioned but I do have connections to Perryville, Arkansas and know a little about the crooked, unethical, immoral Montgomerys. Like father like son for Curtis and his son Scott. This book infuriates me. The things Ms. York and her family have been through are unbelievable and tragic to say the least. I will be praying every day that someone - anyone- with a decent heart and conscience in a position of authority will grant this family an autopsy and get “Katrina” out of an elementary classroom and into a PRISON to rot the rest of her evil life. Maybe now that Scott Montgomery is finally out of office, the new elected sheriff will finally give this family the autopsy and peace they deserve! Tonya York, if you read this please know you are in my prayers and I am so sorry you and your family have had to endure the terrible things you needed to write about.

Sad but important story
Such an unnecessary struggle for this family to find answers and get the truth. I hope this book opens the much needed door for truth.

Ice Tea Anyone? Found Only in this Exclusive Cookbook
Excellent book about how one can get away with murder if one knows the right people. Sadly, this murderer still walks the streets and a loving family obtains no justice. Only the run around. The agency and the state are ultimately responsible for turning a blind eye to the law so this murderer walks free today. Antifreeze is an excruciating painful death. It is also so easy to detect upon autopsy. So how does one cook up an antifreeze cocktail and not get caught? Quite simple. The same way this murderer did...with a little help from egregious like-minded agents and/or agencies. I hope the author's brother receives some measure of justice some day. Thank God above that antifreeze won't be the sweet taste of sugar or syrup in the future. It's use as a murder weapon has killed many a pet by mean-spirited neighbors and even worse, has killed many a spouse. The author has help in telling her story and the story is well written.

Boring...
I love true crime books, but this author loses the story of the suspected murder of her brother in too many words! I get the feeling she had a thesaurus close at hand. She describes every person, event, and emotion with an annoyingly endless use of adjectives. If the unnecessary words were deleted, the book would be half as long and twice as interesting. Read it if it's free, otherwise, save your money.

Deserves more than five stars
My wife and I knew David (the victim). We met at work and became great friends. I only learned of this book a week ago but I'm thrilled that Ms. York wrote David's story. I don't know of anyone who didn't suspect his wife of his untimely death. There's no doubt in my mind there was foul play. His death has crossed my mind many times over the years. Antifreeze Cookbook is a MUST READ for everyone! The writing is so vivid and descriptive, you feel as though you're watching a movie while reading. You get lost in it. I promise you, you won't be able to put the book down. And when you're finished your blood will be boiling at the injustice.

It was a good read.
I enjoyed reading it. I liked how the characters were built, how the story flowed. But I didn't care for how it ended. Even if that's how it really was.

Justice for David...It's been too long in coming!
I am so late in posting this review..no excuse, just keep letting time get away.I could not put this book down!! An actual real event told in this amazing book! One of the real crimes, is that justice has NOT been done! I pray that this will be rectified soon! The family's grief is horrible, and nothing will bring back David, but for the love of God, please join me in prayer for justice and closure for this family!! The state of AR (of which I'm a resident) owes this to the family!! Tonya York has shown amazing courage in the writing of David's story!! Ann Estes
