Violin Student Shoulder Rest - Fits 4/4 Size & 3/4 Size Violins

As the title says, holds well, fits the violin well, little fiddle to begin with but he old one I had was so old it just fell onto the violin! Very happy all good :-)

I got this for our son's full sized violin that I also happened to buy from the same company. Seemed cheap enough but would it be any good, was the question. Well I can say along with son it is better than thought.This shoulder rest is cheap and cheerful but most importantly it does the job it is meant to do. Son did have a sponge but wanted a proper rest as he called it for his own violin not just one on loan. The sponge was fine but for under ten pounds with postage a nice finishing touch for a new violin.Easy to fit and came in the post very fast. The company were great with any colour issues over the violin, my own fault.Would not hesitate to use the company again and if wanting any other musical bits would consider them as the service was great and the item just as described.

When it arrived the box was damaged and it did not look very good quality but it was easy to fit and works well.

This rest is pretty good for the price, not quite as aesthetic as the picture would have you believe, but it works. It can be adjusted to accommodate a full size Violin, stops the instrument from slipping, quite comfortable to use, and allows a good start for beginners to learn how to hold a violin.However, be advised this is a cheap rest. There's no comparison to the other high end violin rests out there, if you can afford a wolf rest buy one.

I have had this for just over a week now and I must say that it is a fantastic accessory for my violin.It fits my 4/4 size violin perfectly and I can adjust its width if needed, though I have not needed to. I'm sure that it would be great also for a 3/4 size violin as it says. The build quality is impressive for a product of its price, the wood texture looks great and adds to the wooden feel of the violin, it is nice and solid and doesn't weigh much either.I find it very comfortable, and makes it easy to play for long periods of time without getting shoulder ache. I would definitely recommend this shoulder rest for first time or experienced players.

Worked really well for me, I used it sever years and can't find any issue with it.

The shoulder rest does not allow any inclination adjustment and it ais to be slighltly shorter than the ideal size in order to be fittted on a 4/4 violin. The width of the support is also too narrow resulting in poor confort.

Purchased this fod my Daughter to form part of a starting kit. Very good quality and price with very prompt delivery.
