Awesome mini PC
Setup took no more than 30 minutes. Windows updates were installed very quickly. This mini PC is super fast and very quiet.Using WiFi at over 200mbps with no issues and machine is actually on a different floor to the WiFi router. Using Logitech MX Bluetooth keyboard and mouse with no issues.Machine is running with nice temps and seems very stable. Couldn’t be happier so far.

Excellent value for money performance
I purchased the Venus Series UM773 Lite 32GB/1TBAmple memory, although could always use more storage space, but 1TB is enough and with 2 USB C ports it is easy to add an external SSD.Performance is excellent considering this was less than £600 8 fast cores and 16 threads, handles photo and 4K video editing easily.Light gaming at low to medium settings is possible, I'd recommend setting V-Ram to 4GB in bios, play at 720p and upscale using the super resolution feature in the drivers (games like fortnite, counterstrike GO and Borderlands 3 play without issue)With the relatively low cost compared to a laptop with 32GB RAM and 1TB M.2 SSD it allows a low cost way to get a small but powerful system in place. If I continue to be impressed, I will look at Minisforum PCs for upgrades in future, the big advantage for me is the ability to replace the PC whilst keeping a high quality screen, Keyboard, mouse etc, and the portability means it can be plugged in almost anywhere!

Powerful mini pc
Great little PC for general use. For light gaming does work but found had to drop resolution to 720p on games like destiny 2 and use AMD super resolution setting to get 60fps with a 1080p upscaled picture. This works well and is good for my needs. For productivity and web browsing it super fast.Only really dropped a star is that I find the fan noise a small bit annoying. I expected the fan to spin up but along with the usual air sound there is a small high pitched whine. If you have ears like mine that seem to pickup high frequencies then this might annoy you.

Incredible value for money
I was very sceptical when I bought this. A bit of me expected I'd have to send it back, but it is really, really good.I have had it for a week now and set up was easy and mine came with Windows pre-installed. Performance is exceptionally good. I pulled some video work off my old laptop (i7 16GB) for a test, and a video that took 50 minutes to render on the old machine was done in 10 on this one. Playback whilst editing in DaVinci Resolve is smooth. It is tiny, smaller than my wifi router, and pretty much silent. It is running 2 x 27" monitors through the front USB Type C.I did put a couple of older games on here , though mostly older stuff as I have a console for modern games, but GTA IV, Manhunt and Bioshock remastered all perform brilliantly. I only scored 3 as GTA IVs frame rate wasn't great, so I imagine newer AAA games would struggle. All in all, I'm very happy and would highly recommend this.

I'm decided against this Mini PC, but still like Minisforum alot!
What Minisforum doesn't tell you is that this is not running at it's full power and to do that, you need to buy a 100w charger and download a bios they offer on their website. I spoke to someone who said they don't sell accessories so it was weird to me.On the Windows side of things, it had some form of lag? Which is weird cuz the specs are no better than what I had before. It was a pain trying to do a clean Windows aswell. I just decided against it in the end.So I got the Venus UM790 Pro which costs more, but the difference is so clear. It is better at gaming, but it's not that what won me over, it's just been an overall smoother experience. Got a decent Power Brick, it's not that much bigger, but I think the cooling obviously provides for the hardware and the fan is far quieter aswell! I've definitely found a keeper with this one!Minisforum are great and I'd go with them over other brands cuz the quality is 100% there, but as impressive as this tiny PC is, specially when I could play a game like Resident Evil 2 Remake on it amazingly well, something's stopping it, maybe it needs a better power supply? Or maybe AMD will have something in a year or two that's just as powerful, but is even more efficient for this size? It could honestly just be me having an unlucky one. Don't use this as a reason to put urself off from the brand though!
