Bench arrived in a slightly damaged box. Instructions are not very clearly illustrated, Mentioned in the list of contents are 8 brass coloured screws, Brass is yellow 9none in package only standard "Philip's No2). I had only 6 handle screw's, 2 missing. The bench with a lot of looking at the instruction's was easy to assemble, ,however the bottom shelf is only supported front and rear in a slot. There is no side support so will have to provide this. There was some damage to the rear right hand top corner so will have to repair it. The bench dog holes are 20mm, the supplied dogs are 19mm and the wooden sticks are 15mm ( no good to man or beast). However as said earlier sturdy nice laquer finish and hope to have many years use.Solid bench, recommend purchase at this price you won't find better.

Very happy with my new workbench and it was delivered quickly. Straightfoward to assemble, and manged it on my own (I'm a small woman!). Putting the cabinet door on, I had to backoff at bit the front screws on the 2 hinges attached to the frame to get the hinge to go on. The drawers were a nuisance to do, but hey they're drawers.Overall very easy to assemble and the instructions were good. Sturdy workbench that looks good too.

This is a sturdy and quality product for the most part. Small details like soft closing cabinet door was not expected. Note this is a work bench, not a piece of furniture so do not expect everything to be perfect, but three problems were found which should not have been there.1) Take care when assembling, The instructions are generally good but the top and bottom shelves are omitted. After attaching the front top and bottom frames, I realised the top and bottom shelves need to be fitted before that, but are not mentioned.2) The drawers have ball bearing runners, but on one of the runners the ball cage was bent upwards, which stops the draw closing. This had to be fixed with pliers. Not difficult if you know what you are doing, but it is a quality check failure.3) This is the most serious problem. The support member at one end that attaches the table top to the frame was broken off at an angle. It was originally glued and screwed in place, but the screws were bent and the glued surface broken. The whole bench components when delivered are well packed and cushioned. As the broken part was on the inside of all this packing, it had to have been packed like that, which is a really serious quality fault. It required cleaning and drilling new screw holes, new screws and regluing. As a woodworker I could do this, but it should not have been necessary.So overall a good piece of kit, but better quality control required.

The bench was relatively easy to assemble even though some of the accompanying pictures could be misleading. I had no problem assembling the draws, the part I was not looking forward to, so perhaps the issues others have had have been rectified by the manufacturer. The end product looks good and sturdy and it suits my needs for doing small DIY jobs. As others have suggested it looks to have been made from various off cuts but it does not detract from the overall finish, I particularly like the lined base of the drawers. I'm happy with the purchase and it sits well in my small (12' x 6') shed.

A superb addition to my workshop, easy to use and very useful.

Package arrived ahead of schedule, was well packaged and took around an hour to assemble with a screwdriver, spanner and allen key. Once assembled the bench is very sturdy, the finish in one or two places could have been better but it is no detriment to the work bench, its going to get knocks scrapes and scratches all over it soon enough anyway. Over all very pleased, i have recommended it to friends and family and would certainly purchase again.

First off I enjoyed assembling this great little workbench but had the same trouble as another reviewer had when I came to the final drawer, the ball bearings fell out and the actual metal runner was bent also the wooden dogs didn't sit true in the bench holes. Still well worth the money and seems like a sturdy bench. Would have given 5 stars were it not for the two faults.
