This is the most beautiful shower drain I’ve ever seen! A friend who also just remodeled a bathroom is SO jealous. The black color is gorgeous and matches so well with the shower head and the design on the grill looks so cool with the tile pattern! I also really love the 6” size. It’s so modern and stylish!

We renovated our bathroom last summer and installed a tiled shower drain. After a year, the shower looks great but tiled drain cover is dirty and chipped. According to the description, this drain is very close to the one that our contractor used, so I figured I'd give it a try and have our contractor come back and replace the drain with this one if it didn't quite fit.Well, the grade fits in the pan perfectly, as does the cup. I can't testify about the process of installing this as a drain assembly (I'm sure other reviewers will do so), but I can report that it's heavy, solid stainless steel and looks beautiful (see photos). The only thing that it doesn't have is silicone feet like the drain cover that it's replace has but it fits in the pan so perfectly, and the top is flush with the tiled shower floor that I don't think it's going to be a problem. It's not going to slide around or move in the tray.This price for a complete drain assembly is great, even though I'm just using the stainless steel grate itself, and probably the drain cup (which also fits perfectly) at some point in the future. Very happy with this product and the way it looks.

I am planning on remodeling my shower and I need a new drain. Not sure when I will install this drain, but I can tell you that it is very will made. It is heavy and is of very good quality. You will not be disappointed with this shower drain. I am looking forward to installing it soon.

We just had our shower renovated and installed this drain. It's working great so far! It looks good, has a hair catcher (important with my long hair), and works well. My contractor had no issue installing it with our existing (standard) US plumbing. It is heavy and seems like good quality, and it goes perfectly with the new matte black fixtures and matte black linear drain installed on the other side of the shower. I like the pattern on the drain cover-- it's a little different and feels a bit special (yes, it's just a drain, but I geek out over this stuff😄).So far (after about 2 weeks of use after install), I would recommend this. I'll update if we experience any issues, but I would order another.

This drain is quite attractive...as drains go. I did not personally install it but got it for the plumber to install. He said it was perfect! I like the pattern on the grate which I got in a brushed nickel to match the rest of my accessories. Can't wait to try out my new shower... still a work in progress!

The floor drain works very well. It matches my bathroom very well.

From a style perspective, the drain is clean and simple, complimenting any contemporary bathroom. The reason for the 3 star rating is the design of the drain connection. When the plumber arrived to run the water lines and configure the drain, he reviewed the instructions and hardware and said he would not be comfortable installing it in our walk-in shower. From his understanding of the instructions and manipulating the drain, it doesn't securely connect to the base flange.Using either the threaded adapter or the rubber gasket results in unwanted play/movement with the main body of the drain. He was concerned that he would be unable to properly align and level the drain in relationship to the tile floor pan. Likewise, he said all of the tile professionals he's worked with would not want to use this drain either. It requires too much finesse to set properly and could easily shift in the mortar over time.Ultimately the plumber used his own drain assembly and this one remains in the box. Maybe others would feel more comfortable installing this drain and figure out how to properly secure it to the base flange, but the professionals hired for my installation did not feel that way.

This is a very nice shower drain. This kit comes with everything you need to install the drain. The drain has a cup underneath the floor plate which helps to capture hair that is going down the drain. The cup has holes that seem a little big. The cup appears to be better for long hair rather than short hair. The other concern with this drain is that you will need something to lift the plate up in order to empty the hair basket. It would have been nice if they had included something to make lifting up the floor plate a little easier. Otherwise, it is a nice looking shower drain and the water drains just fine.
