Great sounding mics.Kick Drum mic is superb giving deep, low and punchy bass without distorting. Snare/Tom mics sound great picking up the drums pretty well. Tom/snare mics are sensitive and will need to be positioned well and with a little EQ sound great in live setting. Condenser mics work really well and have on/off switches. Mics use phantom power. Clips are not the greatest but they do work however at this price you can't get everything. Used the kit for a while in our church worship band and am still surprised at the quality of the mics and only payed £89.00 on amazon.

Speedy delivery and on the whole sound great.except that the kick mic is faulty(thin sound and low output) and when I tried to request they send a replacement out I was told no. Would have got a much higher rating if the Mics all worked, or if the company were willing to replace the faulty part.

Makes rigging drum mics easy. I like the fact it is just one set in a case and one thing to carry. Heavy construction and a good price. Nothing to compare with but seem to work well for the money. Overhead mics seem a little light construction but work satisfctorily. They take a battery (AA) or Phantom Volts - switch still needs to be on with Phantom power. You would still need a mic for Hi Hat if you want stereo overheads which I always do. Tom and Snare mics fix to the rims very well and adjust out of the way of the drummer's playing. These mics are more than adequate for the job.

I have used this set of mics for the past 3 years recording drums at home.Yes, you can get much better, but for hobby use and for live work nothing comes close at this price.The mics are sturdy, well made and you would need to spend much much more to get better.Do the job for recording, but would really come into their own in the live environment where you wouldnt be that worried if you lost or damaged one at this price.This is an example of close mic-ed drums recorded with this set.[...]
