The sand bucket and spade industry is built on a lie. The hope is that you buy a set on holiday and then never use it again, instead investing again the next year and so on. They are treating us like fools, but still, we do it! Even if you do keep the set for another beach visit the quality is often so poor that the plastic has shattered already. You need to invest in some decent tools that will last at least a few years.This 'Lubibi 10 PCS Beach Toy Set' is just the type of thing that you would pick up, all nicely contained in itself - try getting it back in so neat again. They are a small size for a toy sand set, so suitable if you have a toddler or do not want to lug too much around with you. What is the most important thing is that the plastic is all thick and well made. You can get a good heft of solid British beach sand and they do not bend. The small animal moulds are a little useless in my opinion and get lost quickly, but smaller children do like them. This set can be used on the beach, but also work for a sandpit or taking to a playground.

A good set for the beach…very colourful…10 piece set…well made…Kids will love it….Loads of different tools for sand castles and building

Lovely little set
We haven't been able to take this to the beach yet as the weather hasn't been great this year, but I can't wait to take it with us when we do go. You get everything you need to make sandcastles, and there is even a couple of moulds in there to make little sand animals, which I'm sure the kids will love. It seems to be made from solid plastic so I imagine it'll last for a while. Priced at £13.99 you can't knock it, especially when it brings joy to your kids faces.
