I got these along with other crafts for kids to play with at a baby shower. This got the least attention and the little papers wound up all over the floor. Perhaps if this were done as a solo activity in a quieter setting it would have been more used. It involves simple color matching but with fine repeated motor skills. It seems better for older kids with an interest in different forms of art. The concept is unique and the pictures are very pretty.

This is a fun and easy craft for little girls. Great if you need something to keep your little one busy for a while instead of watching tv or being on electronics.

I got these for my daughters to do but it wasn’t the most independent project. You have to hold the tool and cardboard just right to get them in there. It’s a cute project but I had to be pretty hands on with my 5 and 7 year old.

I’ve got to keep my little one’s hands busy and this craft is great for that. I have preschool and toddler age and they all love to attempt these projects. They cannot exactly “nail it” but they are fascinated with the art sheets and the whole idea of poking the fabrics through the pre punctured holes. There is a good variety of fabric colors and the shiny finish is attractive to work with and “dress” the dolls up with. If you’re a perfectionist then wait until your babies are old enough to actually follow the instructions but I thought I’d just say that it works for me!

This set comes in a sturdy box and can be reused over and over for storage. The poke art is very simple to do. This box includes a glittery plastic pen like poker with two ends and plenty of fabric squares. The included pictures have precut slits to poke the fabric into, which is so easy even small children such as preschool aged can do. Another great feature of this set is after you have completed your picture, simple take the fabric out and can be redone with other colors. My children have enjoyed this craft so much we will look into buying other sets.

I received this set of 10 foam boards with designs to poke painting. Poke painting is where a design is on a board and there are X cutouts to poke a small square of fabric with a wooden or plastic "pen", which ends up looking like a ruffle or fluffy fur, etc. Suitable for framing and so much fun to do.There some that come in books but this is 10 separate boards, perfect for birthday or sleepover party craft.
