Bounty Chocolate Bar, 2-Ounce Bars (Pack of 24)

Most buyers who purchase this item will expect the stuff they get in bars like mounds with a little coconut and a lot of sugar cream filling. Coconut is dry by nature. And this product is more coconut than filler. Some may not like the texture. My box had a mfg date of 12-12 and an expiration date of 8-13. But that doesn't matter as the chocolate seals in the moisture and these will last literally for years. Sugar is a natural preservative so spoilage isn't an issue. That's why candy bars have been handed out for years, to soldiers during war without spoilage issues. Most don't realize that bacteria will not grow when sugar is present. We used sugar to cure hams years ago. Americans are so spoiled. I don't blame the maker for not selling them in this country. If you freeze these upon arrival they will last for many years if you don't eat them first. I prefer the fact that these have more coconut and have light milk chocolate coating. I had one of these years ago on a trip and longed for the product for years prior to locating them here on Amazon.

Amazon sent the wrong product. Received regular Mars chocolate bars. Also had an expiration date which had expired. I was really surprised that Amazon would ship expired food. Amazon is in the process of sending me the Mars Bounty Coconut bars that I originally ordered. Hope I get the right order this time. I will let you know when it arrives if it is the right item. It seems their packaging recently has been really poor, with no protective packaging on the product, or the wrong product altogether. I order a lot from Amazon and am a Prime customer. Don't know where their priorities are right now. Amazon used to be so reliable ...

I love bounty and the one star is not for Bounty but for Amazon.The first shipment they sent me had expired 2 months before.The replacement shipment I got though it didn't expire till 11-11-2011; It might as well have been. They were dried and flaky. I didn't bother even returning them. I usually order though 3rd party sellers but I got greedy with the free shipping and sacrificed quality.I've never had issues with Amazon products but this one really dissapointed me.No need to contact me Amazon. I'll still shop with you I just won't be buying Bounty directly from Amazon for now.

Hard to get in the US, but if you are used to them from Europe, this is the real deal. No high-fructose corn syrup.

Wish I could go into every store in the US and buy this....well wait I am on a diet. Maybe that would not be a good idea. The best Candy bar on the market. IMO

Yummy & unavailable in the States, find only in Canada stores. these are actually Mounds bars in milk chocolate. Yummy!!!

We are so glad that we can order Bounty Bars through Amazon-used have to get them in Canada. Thanks-we love them and service was fast.
