Bad design
This little thing was great, but the handle won’t go down deep enough to lock in and it tends to pop off if you crank at any reasonable speed. I board out the opening in the lid and fixed that issue now it works great.

I will not recommend this to anyone
This is a very low quality product. After using it for about 1lb coffee bean. The handle is already broken. Please see the photo. Contact the seller, and get no response. I will not recommend this to anyone. This product is no good!

Handle broke on day two of use.
I owned a very similar grinder for the last 5 years and it finally quit grinding beans adequately. Figured the grinder teeth got worn down after a lot of use. So I bought this one. The knob on the handle broke off on day two of use. Looks like the handle was held on with a pop rivet. The old grinder has a steel pin holding the knob. I took both grinders apart and the internal grinding mechanism is identical in both devices. So moved the new grinder teeth into the old grinder and that works just fine.

Works well
I like this manual grinder because it allows me to grind just enough beans for my boyfriend and I to each have our morning cup of coffee. It grinds very well, and I like that I can adjust the coarseness of the grounds. I'm very happy with this purchase.

The grinder was the perfect size for my needs and for storage
The grinder was the perfect size for my needs and for storage, but the knob on the handle broke off after a month of use. I just ended up buying an electric one that was on sale at target for less than this manual one.

Works, but you can't be in a hurry
It grinds coffee all right. But FYI: a totally full hopper of coffee beans after ~275 revolutions will yield about 1/2 cup of coarse grounds which together with 4 measuring cups of boiling water will make decent french press coffee for two.

It's ok I guess
The knob on the handle broke off. The grinder is not able to grind spices that have oils in them. Also the connection of the handle and grinder kept coming off. If the grinder had metal instead of ceramic it would have worked a lot better.

Beware. Broke after a couple weeks of use.
Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this grinder. It broke after a couple weeks of use. Seems cheaply made. Not durable at all.
