NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto - New York Morning Blend - 18 capsules - 3 Packs - 54 Cups

OK, not everyone likes capsule coffee, however, for my lifestyle, these capsules are fine.I purchased this item as my standard coffee capsule are no longer manufactured. On doctor's orders, I have had to restrict my caffeinated coffee and now take only one cup a day, with any further cups of the decaffeinated type. This capsule is the recommended replacement and I managed to obtain it at a remarkably low price to test. It is my first cup of the day and it is decent coffee in my opinion. I am not a coffee expert, but having never liked tea, I have been drinking coffee all of my life from early experiments with chicory based products back in the 1950's through the introduction of Nescafe powder in tiny tins at the same time, the dreadful Maxwell House and via every coffee concoction available, instant, filter, cafetière , this is my current early morning choice.I am getting used to it, but based upon price, flavour, strength and convenience, it will be my coffee of choice first thing in the day until it likely discontinues!

I’ve used a few of these the main Starbucks brand and the supermarket brand pods over the years.i normally get the Starbucks americano and thought I would give these a try.they taste different but I like the taste and strength of the coffee.i use oat milk and together these taste great.might be a little strong if drank black tho.

Nice for morning coffee.

Could do with a intenso option for larger cup/mugs as weakens with larger mugs. But tastes great for small cups, or mugs .

Tasted bit offwanted to try this as I use other flavors of Nescafé Dolce that taste way better.Light tummy burn which I don’t experience with any coffee what so ever.Packaged extremely well..Stick with the flavor your already used to.

After trying most of the Dulce Gusto coffees out there I plumped for this one. I used to drink the Starbucks house blend, but it is rather strong and so quite dehydrating.This New York blend however is less strong, yet still retains the flavour of a morning coffee but doesn't dehydrate if I have more than one. It's not Starbucks, but it's close.The other good thing about it is that it's around one third of the price of the Starbucks range, especially when you factor in that there are 18 capsules in these boxes and only 12 in the Starbucks!

We regularly buy Dolce Gusto branded pods plus various high street ones too. This variety was odd tasting and not nice. We won’t be buying again. We definitely agreed the Aldi pods were better than this. I love a strong coffee but this wasn’t one. I’ve no idea why they said this was strong intensity - they tasted weak and a bit musty. Go for a different Dolce Gusto variety or head to Aldi.
