Really is 1 STAR. Please Beware. Putting 5 stars so more people will see it. I don’t know if I got a bad bottle but it literally smelled like paint thinner/nail polish remover. My dumb mistake i didn’t connect the smells so I did take it for exactly 5 days. I regret it completely. The first day I only took one so no effect yet. Second day I took two nothing yet. Third day was the start of it all. I felt mentally ill and my stomach was hurting. I have never felt this way in my entire life. I felt EXTREMELY depressed but at the same time anxious. I would get depressed and have to sit down and just cry and no amount of crying would help it. When I was able to stop myself I was always still on the verge of crying and the depressive feelings would turn off and on like a switch. This is day 6 and I didn’t take it thankfully and I feel doom and gloom but no where near what I was feeling. I’m slowly feeling better throughout the day. Im starting to feel like myself again. I have taken cod liver oil before and with no side effects only the benefits but this stuff is basically just poison.

The pills themselves have a smell, but it isn't unpleasant. Seems to work best after dinner.

Capsules don't have a taste if you swallow them whole but, the bottle smells fishy when you open it. It appears to be good quality with quality ingredients.

The capsules smells slightly fishy but bearable. I had it the first day, it hurted my stomach. I quit it. My husband likes this product, it works for him.

I trust Dr. Berg to provide me with the best, natural ingredients and zero fillers. I have been using his other supplements which have in fact cured health issues which doctors were telling me I needed surgery for. I trust Dr. Berg entirely and his Cod Liver oil is no exception. My eyes were crusty and constantly blurry. I couldn't tell if it was my eyesight or eye dryness. These fixed those first two issues and is helping my eyesight (even though I am still using my cheap eyeglass cheaters).I cannot stress Dr. Berg's products enough. No! This does not smell fishy at all. Rather it smells like a blend of chemicals and plastic. I have been taking fish oil supplements, including cod liver oil, for a long time. So I know what fishy smell is like, and this is not it. Now this smell might be normal for this blend, but there needs to be some explanation, so we know we are taking a good product, and not a spoiled one. It’s a little disappointing Dr. Berg hasn’t addressed this in product description considering this appears to be one of most common issues by low ratings.

It's an important part of a healthy body. Dr Berg uses a process in making the powdered oil capsules in a way that they are maximized potency. Other cod liver oil powdered capsules use high heat and destroy the nutrients. Dr Berg has great videos that explain all his products. I highly recommend looking him up and watching his videos.
