HOLY 5 STARS BATMAN!
What a start to this series. This was probably my fourth time reading it through and I figured it was time to write my thoughts.Kylie has been in hiding for 8 years since her father was murdered right in front of her. She has no one left in her life but her grandmother. She has secrets that she wants to keep hidden but she also has a huge crush on billionaire Jackson King.Jackson has his own secrets that he wants to keep hidden from Kylie and everyone else. But he’s a lone wolf with no pack and the full moon is coming. His wolf wants to mate. And Kylie is who the wolf has chosen. But she’s human… can she survive it?This story was packed with suspense. It also introduces you to a few additional characters that will have their stories revealed in the series.

Sweet + steamy suspense
This one starts off strong and never lets up, so I loved every minute of it. Kylie is a hacker who’s interviewing for a new job, but the pressure is on because the company belongs to her longtime crush, billionaire fellow-geek Jackson. As soon as Kylie sets her eyes on him, she wants him. Well, she’s always wanted him but never expected to get this up close and personal with him. He seems interested too, sometimes, but he runs hot and cold.Kylie is worried about her job and fighting her attraction to the boss, but Jackson is dealing with even bigger problems. He’s a shifter and his wolf wants Kylie. She’s his fated mate, except she can’t be, she’s a human. Jackson knows he can’t claim her, it would be too dangerous, so he needs to stay away from Kylie for her own good. That’s not going to be easy since she’s in trouble and he’s the only one who can protect her.Their story is funny, steamy and suspenseful. I loved the main characters and the supporting cast. I’ll definitely be reading more of this series.

Shifters...
I love shifters...and our hero is no exception.Billionaire hero: Check.Gorgeous heroine: Check. So, every storyline topic's been done. Imagination and execution keep the cliches at bay.Our hero is 3H...handsome, hot, hunky. Our heroine is a 3S...smart, sexy, snarkyWhile the billionaire alpha has been done to death (in every genre), the issues presented before, during and after our H/H characters meet, and continue to interact, keep the storyline from being a true cliche. Of course they're mates. But admitting they could have a relationship and making it work are two very different things. Trust and communication are central issues, and you can't have the first without the second.Interesting plot, good characterization, and full arcs for both. This is a series worth continuing...

A book with no cliffhanger...
**Personal Restrictions (18+) with sex, language, and adult situations**This was a great read in the sense that it ended on a happily ever after. Making it a ful story with no cliffhangers. If I get the opportunity to read another book by these authors, I'd certainly not say no.

Great Story
Alpha’s TemptationJackson and KylieBook 1 in the Bad Boy Alphas seriesI really liked this book. It was easy to read, well written and drew me in from the very beginning.I first read about Kylie and her mate in Alpha’s Vow, when she helps out another pack. I’m glad I found her and Jackson’s story.Jackson. Billionaire. Founder and CEO of SeCure, his information security business. Sexy nerd who loves coding. Alpha lone wolf. Who carries some deep dark secrets.Kylie. Orphaned at sixteen, raised by her maternal grandmother. Hacker. Can write code like no other. She has no friends, no social life. Just her Gran and her laptop. They live a very simple life. She too is carrying around her own deep dark secrets. Secrets that seem to be catching up to her.On the surface Jackson and Kylie are polar opposites. But as their story unfolds you start to see just how much these two have in common.Kylie has just landed an interview for her dream job, hoping to work for the one man she has admired for years. Jackson. Ever since she hacked through his security system to virtually wave at him. Now she needs to nail this interview, and impress her new bosses. But first she has to survive a panic attack in a dark elevator with a stranger.Jackson is drawn to the woman as soon as she enters the elevator. When the lights go out, and the elevator stalls, his companion starts to freak out. But the minute he touches her his wolf knows immediately he’s met his mate. Complicated doesn’t even begin to describe what’s to come.I loved Kylie. She was smart, strong, tough enough to stand up for herself even when it’s in her best interest to keep quiet. She does not back down from Jackson. Her grandmother is her only family and she will do whatever it takes to see her safe.Overall I liked Jackson. He has qualities that I really admired. On the surface he’s stiff and impersonal, but has a good heart. I just got a bit tired of his repetitive inner dialogue. He wants Kylie, his wolf wants to claim her, but he can’t, because she’s human. Over and over and over…… That and his trust issues where Kylie was concerned. For someone who seems to think she’s his mate, he sure treats her awful and is constantly pushing her away. Not talking to her about what she’s done or what he sees. Just assuming the worst and cutting her loose.A good story, great characters. It’s told in multiple points of viewNo cheatingHEA

Mine ;-)
Kylie needs this job, she needs to prove to herself that she can function in the real world and not just in the virtual world. Jackson King is alpha in his world. He doesn’t want the complication’s of running a wolf pack, he leaves it to the alpha Garrett. And he left that along time ago, when he left his original pack. When Kylie and Jackson first meet it’s literally lust at first sight! Only Kylie knows who Jackson is, Jackson has no clue she is, but she doesn’t know what he is! Trapped in a lift, Kylie has a full blown panic attack, but with Jackson at her side it soon subsides and they leave the lift, but Jackson’s wolf won’t leave Kylie, the Wolf has decided Kylie will be their mate. But Kylie is human, and Jackson won’t do that to her.....But that all changes when she’s implicated in espionage charges, instead of letting Kylie explain herself, Jackson locks her away.....I did like this book. I wanted to kick Jackson as he accused Kylie of sabotaging his company. And you have to love a grovelling Alpha when he realises his mistake. A little more on his backstory would have been nice, but who knows we may get more in the following books (last count over 15!)Kylie is a hacker, and a pretty good one, years ago she hacked into Jackson’s company, she took nothing, but wanted to show him his software had issues. We jump forward and Kylie is going for an interview at the company she hacked. She doesn’t really have many social skills, so this was her way of reintegrating into society. And when she’s blackmailed into compromising Jackson’s company, she doesn’t have much choice. But Jackson won’t believe when she tries to explain herself.I have to admit I did guess who was sabotaging the company pretty early on in the book. But not why.Looking forward to reading the next book.🦋

A conspiracy, a set up and a hot alpha oh my
For a week I've tried to read since this whole covid 19 disaster happened and I haven't managed to until this book drew me back in. The alpha is hot, demanding, domineering and closed off. But as well as that there is a strong storyline that captures the readers attention and imagination. A story of corruption, betrayal and mystery Kylie is an amazing hacker but tragedy and a strong moral compass send her into hiding and a search for a normal life. This book was well written, breathtakingly intense and has all the heat of a true alpha and his mate.

Mine!! Down wolf...
Was surprised how much I enjoyed this book, my first by these authors (both and individually) it has a bit of everything, good dialogue, storyline, characters, sex, really everything you need. Liked the narrator (my first time hearing him) though he has a great voice I think would have prefared either a female narrator for Kylie or for him to give Kylie a more feminine voice, sometimes all the characters sounded the same. All in all though enjoyed it and would continue with rest of the series.

Great read
Phew!! This is one hot & saucy book. The story pulled me in exactly the way I like it, making me feel as if I am in the same room as the characters.Good flow to the plot and story, decent amount of suspense with a few twists along the way.Excellent editing, very few minor errors throughout the book. I dont care how good a book is, if the editing is poor I just cannot read it. It is a huge no no for me as it spoils the momentum of reading.About to start the 2nd book in the series now.

Nice and different take
I really enjoy trying new authors and I loved the take that Renee took on the characters job role within the shapeshifter world. It really enabled the whole story to progress throughout the book nicely. I would have liked more depth into the beginning of the book and more push/pull between the main characters before the main conflict started. Overall I really enjoyed it and thought it was a nice light shifter read.
