Brilliant
Must have for any serious beginner with astronomy. This effectively gives you two different sets of magnification for every lens that you have. So if you have a 20mm lens then when combined with this it will give you 10mm. Gives a very clear view, it helps to save you money and it is very well made. Make sure your telescope takes 1.25 inch lenses though.

Great images
The box it came in was in good condition although maybe not the safest. Either way, it is a great addition to my beginner setup. I took some lovely images with my phone held to the eyepiece, and I have very shaky hands!

Looking good
When I bought my telescope it came with 2 lenses and a x2 barlow. The barlow was plastic and didn't seem so good a quality. Trying to fit a moon filter the barlow screw was too wide and the filter would just fall out.Although I haven't tested it yet, this barlow is made of metal, not cheap plastic - you can feel the quality in the weight. I tried to attach the moon filter and it fits perfectly again showing quality of the product. It is my hope enjoy using this barlow 2x, the next clear skies I get

Brilliant :)
This is the first and only barlow I have used before as I am new to scoping, but I use this with a 9mm eyepiece with my celestron nexstar 130slt. I get really good results and can see Jupiter, its stripes, and moons gonig around it. I am buying a 6mm eyepiece as well to go with it and I hope it doesn't look clarity as I think I might be pushing the limit of the scope itself. All round very happy with this, comes in a fairly protective box/case with covers for each end.

brilliant quality for the price
After getting my first scope i wanted to see saturn that little bit closer with the supplied eyepieces.Even with a cheap 10mm eyepiece this focused on saturn well. Doesnt work too great on the moon with the 10mm but with the 25mm its great

Well made
Really well made Barlow but the cheaper Omni Barlow is optically identical to my eyes and has a removable lens allowing for two magnifications.I'd buy the Omni if I was you.

Nice build quality, sharp image, low light loss.
I have used this in conjunction with a Skywatcher 130M, focal length 900mm, aperture 130mm and skywatcher 8 - 24mm MZT-24 lens and Baader Hyperion 5mm lens. It provides a far superior quality image compared to the original skywatcher 2x barlow that came with the scope. For example, there is less light loss, the image is clearer and the build quality is very sturdy.I would recommend however getting the allignment stabilising device for this, so when you put a big heavy 5mm lens on it, it doesnt droop slightly out of allignment. Im not going to mark the lens down for that though.Worth every penny in my opinion, however i am a NOOB with regards to astronomy so feel free to ignore this reveiw based on that fact, if you wish :)

Best addition to your telescope
This lens is a good one. The only thing I recommend is to get the small lense and attached it to your original ocular otherwise the image will not be focused. I manadge to see Saturn and Jupiter much better with this one. The Moon is the best one: in the 1st imagine, the collage, the picture is taken with the Barlow lens, the 2nd one one is without. I highly recommend this product
