I'm used to straighteners with wider plates, so this is a bit of a learning curve, but i am digging this so far. Yeah, it takes a little longer to straighten my hair, but it seems like these work better than the wide plates. First off, this heats up FAST... I set it to heat up while i'm getting dressed in the morning and usually it gives me the 'ready' beep before i even get out of the bathroom. Once fully heated, the plates hold temp really well and glide through my hair with no resistance and i usually only have to do one pass to get the job done. There are a wide range of temps available and none seem to overheat, no scorching or frizzing yet... even with almost daily use. The straightener itself feels very solid and well made, very well balanced in the hand. My only concern is how close the buttons are to the heating pads. I wish they were either at the base of the handle or at the top or something, away from the inside of the straightener and the hot part! haha

I bought this product back on January and no longer works. Is only been used a few times. when I turn it on and I start using it turns back off after a minute. I will never buy this again

While I do like this flat iron, I have been finding it to be a little big to handle. Due to the bigger plates, it is harder to get those close to scalp areas.Then that has required me to have to still get out my hot comb to get those"tighter" regions. This gloss iron has been great for straightening my wigs.When plugging This iron in, I noticed that it takes about 3 minutes for it to heat up where to the heat level that I like it.I do not like when the controls are placed inside the flat iron. I prefer to have the dials on the cord or on the outside in my heating devices.

The “Insert Name Here” brand name cracks me up. I like the color of this hair straightener and it’s quite sleek looking. My favorite feature is the wide variety of degree selection so you can customize it to your preferred temperature. I usually use straighteners at about 210° but it required multiple pass-throughs, so I guess I’ll have to use this on a higher temp. Otherwise, it’s very easy to use. I especially appreciate the placement of the buttons where you can’t accidentally click them while using the tool- smart design!

This is nice because my hair doesn't tug as much. I love that I can pick what temperature I want to use and love the auto shut off.This is a good quality hair straightener and I recommend this to anyone! =D

This hair straightener is very nice. It does a great job and the nano technology leaves your hair smooth and shiny. It is easy to use and the fact that it is dual voltage makes it a great tool to travel with. It also has adjustable heat settings from 340F to 450F and a swivel cord.However, there are a couple of flaws in the design. The first and most potentially dangerous is that the on/off and temperature controls are inside, above the plates. You have to be very careful or use a heatproof glove to turn this on and off, as you could easily burn yourself. The other issue which is more of an annoyance is there is not a way to lock the plates together. This makes storage and portability more difficult. I’m using a rubber band after it’s cooled, but for the price, a way to lock it closed would have been expected, which is why I took a star off.
