Wonderful
A really pleasant smelling and tasting tea - just a small amount can create a pot that’s still strong in flavour - has a lovely, rich earthy flavour that I ADORE

Good flavour
Tea is made from all-natural ingredients and is free of any artificial additives. The tea is also packaged in eco-friendly packaging, which is important to me. Good. tea overall.

Clean, Green
I brew with water 85C because that's as low as my kettle goes but then leave it a moment after it's finished. Such a lovely clean taste to the tea. I've resolved to give up drinking coffee on a morning, but hydration is so important, and the lovely clean taste of green tea is wonderful to wake up to.

Delicious and authentic
This green tea tastes delicious. The flavour is delicate and light, with a milder scent than some green teas. I think it offers excellent value-for-money at £5.99 for 120g. I also like the eco-friendly pouch that it comes in.

Rather Too Weak for my Unrefined Tastes
I was rather disappointed with this CENVEL® Authentic Loose Leaf Mao Feng Green Tea. Maybe I don’t have refined enough tastes! The instructions suggest 1 or 2 teaspoonfuls of the loose-leaf tea in 300 ml of 80 degree C hot water. I tried 1 teaspoon first & didn’t know whether to describe it as a subtle taste or tasteless … I settled on refined, subtle taste, as it was not true to say it had no taste at all. Even 2 teaspoonfuls were not enough! When I tried my third cup with 3 teaspoons heaped full, I had perhaps gone slightly too far, so next time I will go back to 2 teaspoons heaped full.

Weak flavour but no bitterness
This would make a good 'beginners' green tea. When I first opened the bag, there was hardly any smell & when I tasted it, the flavour - while pleasant - was very weak, too. This means, however, that there is none of the bitterness or dryness which I associate with green tea. This is a nice enough tea but is unlikely to become my first choice.

Tastes Good
My wife has been drinking this green tea for a while where she adds other things to it. She said this a good taste to it where green tea is not over powerful so pleasant to drink all year round, this has a long expirydate and at a good price.
