Amazing must have for the beach!
When I first unpacked this towel I thought the colors were vibrant and it was super cute. However, I also thought it was going to be way to thin to be effective. I had never purchased a quick dry sand proof towel though, so I was crossing my fingers that it was going to be worth the money. My family and I were going to Hawaii for the first time, and I had read that sand free quick dry towels were worth the purchase, and the space in my luggage. WERE THEY EVER RIGHT!!! This towel is awesome. The material wicks up water so quick. It's thin material is still wind proof so if your chilly and damp you can still wrap it around you and get that wind protection. There are no loops in the fabric so there is no where for the sand to stick. We just shook them out and were ready to go. The thin material also dries so quickly that laying it in the sun or out in the breeze dried it out so fast that it was ready to go for the next beach adventure even if it was only 30 or 40 minutes after the first one! The other great thing is that because of the thinner material it is super light weight. It took up minimal luggage space, and when packed into a backpack or beach bag it took up very little space and added virtually no weight to the pack. A must have for beach trips for sure!

Large towel, looks good, not the most absorbent
Okay so this is great as a towel to sunbathe on but it's not the best for getting you dry. It does okay, just not as well as a traditional towel. The design looks great though, and it's nice having a large towel that can fold up so small.

packaging
The towel seems to be good, will use on vacation. My problem: The towel came in a zipper type plastic/vinyl type of pouch. Would be good to fold towel and use to keep dampness away from other things in back pack. The pouch was ruined because it was folded over with VERY STRONG packing tape directly over the zippered opening. It was impossible to remove without tearing.
