- The Brass Id tag included with this collar can hold two lines of text each having 17 characters or spaces. The characters can be A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P,Q,R,S,T,U,V,W,X,Y,Z,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0,&,/, or a period, or a dash. We suggest that line one be the owner name and line two be the contact phone number, but it can be anything as long as it is with the above characters and is 17 or less characters per line.
- Gold lettering outline color is the default color for black English Bridle leather collars. There are 16 other colors to choose from. These are black, blue, orange, red, light blue, green, teal, yellow, tan, medium brown, dark brown, gold, silver, lime green, dark pink, pink.

We can also use punctuation such as ["], [,], [.], [-]. A 16 inch collar can hold 7 letters or spaces of ¾ inch lettering or 6 of 1 inch scale lettering. An 18 inch collar can hold 9 letters or spaces of ¾ inch lettering or 7 of 1 inch scale lettering. A 20 inch collar can hold 11 letters or spaces of ¾ inch lettering or 9 of 1 inch scale lettering. A 22 inch collar can hold 14 letters or spaces of ¾ inch lettering or 11 of 1 inch scale lettering. A 24 inch collar can hold 16 letters or spaces of ¾ inch lettering or 13 of 1 inch scale lettering. We also have lower case lettering available for 1 ½ inch wide collars. The first letter is a capital letter and the rest are in lower case lettering. A 16 inch collar will hold 10 of the lower case scale lettering. An 18 inch collar will hold 13 of the lower case scale lettering. A 20 inch collar will hold 16 of the lower case scale lettering. A 22 inch collar will hold 20 of the lower case lettering. A 24 inch collar will hold 23 of the lower case lettering.
__1 :) This is a Heavy Leather Dog Collar made from 10 oz English Bridle Leather. English bridle leather is tooling leather just like the leather we use for our other dog collars, but it has been through some extra processes at the tannery to make the leather more durable for use with horse tack, belts, saddle bags, and more. English Bridle is a premium leather for dog collars because it has been hot stuffed with tallow, oils and binders that increase the leathers durability in all weather conditions. The black color was done at the tannery in drums to allow the color to more deeply penetrate into the leather. __2 :) Our 1 ½ inch wide collars have 2 keeper loops to hold any excess collar length. __3 :) We make our Dog Collars with nickel plated steel hardware and all are assembled with steel rivets. __4 :) This dog collar comes with a free brass ID tag. We engrave the owner name and contact phone number into the brass id tag free. __5 :) Your pet name is embossed into the leather collar for free.
