This L bracket does everything it needs to do. It is sturdy and lightweight. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the bracket does slightly impede the strap attachment loop. The bracket locks the loop in an upright position. This prevents it from rotating. I do not use a strap that often so it is not a big deal.

As good as any of the expensive L-brackets. Sturdy, low profile, lightweight. Great value - will be buying for all my other Nikons.

As yet, there are few l-brackets available for the z8. They range from over $200 to this one. I needed one now, so, for the time being this one will do just fine. It's a bit on the heavy side but it offers the advantages of having an l-bracket without breaking the bank. The USB ports are easily accessible but upper ports are bit difficult to access. I'm not going to use those often so that doesn't bother me. The attachment screw seems a bit shorter than usual but it works. So, for the price you can't go wrong.

If you normally remove the idiot rubber base pad from economy L-brackets as I do, this unit is disappointing. The Sunway L-bracket for Nikon Z6II/Z7II was fine. The rubber "vibration multiplier" pad can be pulled off and the Z6/Z7 and bracket still work fine. On the Sunway Z8 PNL-Z8 L-bracket, if you remove the rubber vibration multiplier pad, the bracket then interferes with the left (seen from behind) strap lug.Also, this bracket cannot be slid over sideways to vary the clearance between Z8 body left side and bracket.This is the first Sunway product I've been disappointed with.

It is an ideal size and weight L bracket. I leave it on the camera all the time because it actually provides a bit of a grip on the left side and the weight is non issue. I will never go back to flipping the tripod head to the side for vertical pics because it not only changes the position but also the height. L brackets make it a breeze and this one is awesome for the price. As a professional photographer I keep one of these on every camera - and I’ve got a few.

I've used this L-bracket for over two months and really liked it, but on a recent trip, the battery access lever started to come loose. After removing the L-bracket, I didn't see any way to tighten it. There was NO access to the screw holding it in place. The other problem is that when I tighten my grip on the L-bracket to shoot, the loose access lever makes enough noise to disturb wildlife for closeup shooting.

Fit onto Z8 as it is stated. Fitting was good and item was well made with no rough edges or corners. No complains.
