This works great for me! I can play music, audiobooks, or bedtime story podcasts and my wife can't hear it.. That said, this works via bone conduction. It sounds terrible if you have your ear on it, but if you place it closer to your jawline or temple, it works magnificently. Clear sound with easily discernible speech; I can hear every word of my favorite audiobooks and podcasts. You don't get the nuances of an orchestral piece, and you need to make sure it's not upside down (the rubberized part goes toward the bottom). I tried in a hotel room with a pillow that had latex foam inside and couldn't hear it, but I imagine that's why it says that you can't use it with latex pillows. All in all, good value for the money. I've been recommending it to people all the time lately. Great Product! Well done!

This does not conduct sound well through a pillow. It does work as a speaker but you have to have it close to your ear.

Reviews were sketchy on this but I tried it anyway and I’m glad I did. As a person who liked to listen o something on my phone at bedtime, but didn’t want to disturb my husband with the noise , this works perfectly. I hated sleeping in ear buds bc I’m a side sleeper so this allows me to listen comfortably at night without bothering anyone else. Shipping took about 3 weeks.

Honestly I was not expecting much from this... but I was pretty wrong. It does a really good job for it's purpose. Easy to connect, decent battery life, I control the volume from my phone... it's nice because my partner snores and sometimes it's all I can focus on and I don't want to play music outloud because he has sleep apnea and wakes up easily and I want to be quiet... so it's perfect!

There is probably a better quality speaker out there. You get what you pay for.

I am assuming the bad reviews are from those thinking it's a traditional speaker. Nice and small and packs a punch. It is something I am traveling with from here on...

I bought this for a pillow speaker the main reason i bought this is the ad claims volume control that is a lie but until you buy it you would not know the instructions tell you that it does NOT SUPPORT VOLUME CONTROL even though the ad says it doesThis will be going back asap

My partner watches videos to fall asleep. I can’t hear voices or sounds to fall asleep…this is the solution! I don’t hear her videos and she can hear it crystal clear under her pillow. Connecting to her phone is seamless. It is a small sleek box that I can’t tell is even under her pillow unless I look. This is fantastic for the individuals that have to listen to sounds to sleep!
